Basic us got The Brewer’s Breakfast ($26) for sharing and it really came in a generous serving which compensates for the higher price tag 🤪 For the maple bacon, it is slightly different, it’s a thick cut one just like your lor Bak and not those crisp thin kind! Mushroom, spinach and scrambled eggs are done to perfection, yums 💯 Added a bowl of Burrata salad as well, time to learn how to do this at home to avoid expensive costs outside!😂

@chopsgrillandsides a humble western concept known for their pocket friendly yet generous portions 😄 Their relative new flagship @gridsingapore is BUSSIN’ — we almost couldn’t get a seat since the last time I was here and with the 🌠Raya specials, more reasons to deviate from their regular westerns from $5.90 🤤 So excited to try 1-2pcs of 🍗 Crispy Balado/Kicap Chicken with 2 sides + keropok ($9.90|$13.90) 🤩 While I preferred the Balado sauce which was tangy and had a spicy kick over the sweet Kicap, I was obsessed with their crispy thigh meat and my fav kind of Bandung Jelly 😉 To be fully contented, do add on their 🧀🍟Cheesy fries too!!! 😋

Starting at $10++, @manam.sg offers a curated journey of South Indian spices along with a medley of cocktail pairings to get through the heat 🔥 Savour on starters & curry dishes 😋 — those that really stood out were 🦐Karuvepillai Eraal Varuval (Prawns Marinated in Spiced Curry Leaf Paste) and 🍗Hyderabadi Chicken Masala (pretty spicy yet flavorful Chicken Curry served with Yoghurt and Caramalized Onions) 🤩 Best paired with a nicely charred texture of Garlic Naan, Tandoori Paratha (similar to prata but in wheat form😱) that's made a la minute!! 😉

Treat yourself like a royal @bachacoffee which has been opened for over a year now in Singapore and has a long history resembling a grand palace with tall glittering pots of 100% pure Arabica coffees 😄 While entering the Coffee Room & Boutique, lies an eye-catching pastry showcase and a café decor filled with Moroccan vibes 🤩 What amazed me the most was the massive selection of over 200 single origin coffees☕️ (starting at $9/pot, serves about 2 cups), I like to enjoy mine with chantilly cream to fully appreciate the distinct flavors of the coffee!! 😋

Amongst the chic danish-style interior & al-fresco seating @dough.coffee, lies a cafe-cum-bakery featuring a variety of fancy pastries like 🥨Kouign Amann, 🍵🥯Matcha Mochi Bun, 🍓🍞Strawberry Brioche, all starting at $5 (unlike a regular cafe, their bakery is self-service☺️). For a more filling meal, there were 6 in-house mains offered, and we tried their 🍽Rosti ($26) — pretty pricey but they managed to pull off the flavors together well 😋

Found out that @thebeast_sg serves 🍗🧇Chicken & Waffles ($22++) — one of my fav Southern dishes and probably the most-ordered item here! With a thick&juicy well-seasoned fried chicken, sturdy and reasonably fluffy waffles to go with their in-house bourbon maple butter sauce is def not be missed here 😋 Due to a limited variety of mains, we decided to go for Mac & Cheese($13++) side which was pretty cheesy but pricey for its portion 😬

Yes you saw that right, @168_mookata serves affordable foie gras ($5.90/pc) and 100g Wagyu Striploin MB4+ ($9.90) 🤩 Not only are they pocket-friendly, for a generous meat platter at $25.90 for 2pax / $39.90 for 4-5pax, I must say that their ingredients were really fresh and of quality 👍🏻 The highlight for us was none other than the substantially thick and melt-in-mouth foie gras — def recommended 😋 Do check them out, they just turned 1 month old in this neighbourhood 🙌🏻

From an extensive Western-European menu, one of the better picks for us was the 🐟Cod Fish & Chips ($18++) of huge Cod fillet portions and not oily batter 😋 Their well-flavored Mentaiko Waffle Fries ($10++) was so addictive that we really savored till there wasn't even time to snap pics 😬 Lastly, service here was abit slow but I guess the company and ambience made up for it 🙌🏻
