So worth it at $5.50! It was freshly fried, warm and perfectly crisp. The chips were also very thin, almost reminding me of wanton skin. Would say the guacamole was just average tasting, but Iām just nitpicking at this point. Really value for money and perfect when paired with their beers on tap š¤¤
Ordered this along with the Dan Dan Noodles and would say that this was really value for money and delicious! The skin is on the thicker side, but the filing is really juicy and flavourful. Itās perfectly cooked and tasted very fresh. Wiped out all 15 pieces by myself 𤤠Remember to pair it with the ginger and vinegar placed on the side!
A small issue was that another diner spotted a small roach near the counter top and the staff killed (?) it with the table cloth.
The noodles were soft, yet retains a chewy texture and clings on to the sauce really well. Frankly not the biggest fan of the sauce, which just tasted like mined meat with dou ban jiang. It was a little too salty as well. Added some vinegar and chilli oil and it tasted so much better!
Seating is limited, and be prepared to wait as itās a one-man show. Donāt think I would return for this, but might return to try the soup noodles, which majority of the diners ordered!
Tried other keisuke ramen outlets and always found the soup to be on the saltier side. Opted for light saltiness and less oil and itās perfect for me! āŗļø The chicken was fall-off-the-bone tender and even my lousy chopsticks could get all the delicious meat out. Paired with the free-flow eggs and kewpie mayonnaise⦠this is truly a simple joy. Paid $15.20 after GST and service charge.
Ordered the fixed set Suan La Fen ($6.80) where the staff will help you to choose the ingredients inside + vermicelli. The soup was sour, and I loved it as Iām a āBak Chor Mee add vinegarā kinda person. It was very appetising to me and I finished all the soup!
My only gripe was that it wasnāt spicy enough, and I put some chilli padi inside. I would say that itās really worth it, and they were really generous with the soup. I did not feel thirsty after finishing up the soup! I also felt that the vermicelli used is a bit different from what I used to. Itās not the kind that breaks apart easily in fish soup, itās slightly chewy and really delicious in the soup!
Overall, I really loved the place as itās clean, quiet, and serves really good food. Iāve tried the bone broth as well and loved it as well. Tip: try out their spicy paste sauce, itās really delicious with the āmalaā taste without being too spicy.
Honestly very average food with a long waiting time. Had to wait more than 30mins until the food is served. Waffle with smoked salmon and eggs were a bit odd to me as well. Ordered the Iced Latte ($6.80) and felt that it was a bit too bitter for my taste. Donāt think Iāll be returning.
Came here to celebrate my fatherās birthday and omg was honestly blown away by the quality of the beef.
Our favourites were the Japanese Wagyu Premium Loin Long Cut and Karubi. Felt that these 2 were the least tough and the juiciest. Some parts had a lot of tendon and really hard to chew despite the A4 grading. The charcoal was extremely hot and placed under the oily Japanese Wagyu, the fire was pretty scary! One small complain that I have would be that some pieces of beef that came were not as well marbled as the rest, but the majority were amazing.
I also really liked the sides, especially the Nama-Su (for the sour crunch), Shio Cucumber (refreshing crunch) and assorted Namuru. The Ponzu sauce and Garlic Chilli Oil dip was delicious as well, but my favourite would be the Chilli Paste that came with the Vegetable Wrap Set!
Overall, would definitely come back for celebrations as it was a bit too sinful to feast like this regularly. The service was very prompt as well. Paid $310 for 3pax for the Japanese Wagyu Buffet + free flow green tea and would say it was worth it although pricey! Definitely give it a try if you are a beef lover ā¤ļø
This has become my go-to place for KBBQ and I canāt help but to feel a bit sad that it became so popular š Made a reservation at 2pm hoping to avoid the crowd but there was still a long queue. Only managed to get a seat at 2.30pm.
The meats were delicious, My go-to is the soy chicken, pork belly and beef brisket. The soy chicken can be a little inconsistent, but i loved how they made cuts in the meat so that it cooks more evenly. The service is quick, and they frequently changed the hotplate, which is very much appreciated!!
Remember to make a reservation because this is a popular place! They used to have weekday and weekend prices but I think itās been fixed at $29.90.
Why did I order this at a pizza place š„² I had to wait around half an hour for this to arrive, and my partner had already finished his main⦠The pasta was disappointing, it was too dry with no sauce (only chunks of tomato). There was no seafood flavour as well, and the tomato chunks tasted very basic with no depth of flavour. The spice came from slices of chilli padi which I didnāt feel like it complemented with the dish. The seafood wasnāt particular outstanding as well, all tasted pretty overcooked. Would not recommend at all.
This is my 3rd time eating here in a month and standard has been pretty consistent so far! The noodles are perfectly cooked and springy, there was enough sauce to coat all the noodles and the lard was still very fragrant and crispy! I felt that the chilli is not spicy enough, but after asking to add more vinegar in the noodles, the noodles were perfect for me ā¤ļø Ordered takeaway for their noodle soup, and felt that the soup was on the light side (not sure if itās because I bought at 10am) and I didnāt quite like the taste of the noodles in the soup. Think Iāll still stick to the dry version āŗļø
Ordered takeaway for Sunny Carrot as most of the others was sold out. Iām glad that they packed the fried bits at the side so they remained crispy. I have to say that I couldnāt really taste the carrot, and the soup felt pretty oily. There was a layer of oil over the soup and could be a bit jelak.
A beautiful space with really chill vibes. The coffee was a little small for the price paid but it was pretty strong! I loved that there was a toilet in the cafe, with Aesop hand wash! The tables are pretty low and seats were pretty uncomfortable, not too ideal for doing work or sitting for long.
