This place never disappoints :â) perfectly cooked soba with the umami soup just hits the spot every time. The prawn tempura was amazing as well, with the prawn retaining its own crunch and when paired with the light crispy batter 𤤠be prepared to wait though but itâs so worth the wait!
Went in as it looked relatively empty at 11.45am on a Saturday but still had to wait ~45mins for the food to arrive. Thankfully, food came delicious and pipping hot.
Ordered the Gyu Teriyaki ($18++) lunch set and it came with rice and soup (was informed that they no longer served fruit). Meat was perfectly medium rare as requested and sooo juicy. My only gripe is that the meat is on the thin side, but still pretty value for money. There was a thin batter on the beef, and it wasnât really crispy and got soggy with the saladâs sauce on the side. But it doesnât really affect the taste too much and still delicious! Requested for the teriyaki sauce on the side, and Iâm so glad I did that as I preferred the meat without the sauce.
My partner ordered the Nabeyaki Udon ($18++) and it was delicious as well, served with a fried ebi and salmon on the top. Soup was pipping hot, full of umami and really warming to the soul. Honestly couldât decide which dish I liked better!
I would definitely return again but only go over if youâre prepared to wait! It seemed like many waited for a long time for their food to be served.
Tried other keisuke ramen outlets and always found the soup to be on the saltier side. Opted for light saltiness and less oil and itâs perfect for me! âşď¸ The chicken was fall-off-the-bone tender and even my lousy chopsticks could get all the delicious meat out. Paired with the free-flow eggs and kewpie mayonnaise⌠this is truly a simple joy. Paid $15.20 after GST and service charge.
Deliciously fried pork, but honestly couldnât taste the seaweed. The pork was juicy and thick, and really wished the potion was bigger. The miso soup was so flavourful and packed with ingredients, really loved it! Cabbage only had one type of dressing available, roasted sesame. Requested for wafu dressing but waitress didnât even know what that was, and said I needed to order it from the ala carte menu. The tea jelly for dessert was a surprise and a nice way to end the meal.
The food took a long time to be served, and the number of staff members were more than the customers in stall⌠Be prepared to wait. Overall, I would say it was pretty worth it given the free flow rice, soup and cabbage.
