Smoked Salmon, Capers, Dill & Olive Oil dressing and Onions in a sandwich. This was fresh and delicious but it was just a safe combination, especially with the familiar flavours of smoked salmon and onions. The Dill & Olive Oil dressing felt like a lighter alternative to Tartar sauce, which was more flavourful too!
At the Carvers & Co pop-up 18 North Bridge Road. Delicious! Will come back to try the rest!
For a simple, satisfying breakfast, go for the hole-in-one beauty that begins with a thick slice of freshly made sourdough bread and centered golden yolk with house salad on the side. This is available only on the weekend brunch menu, but I wouldn't mind having this everyday.
One of our favorites, the Dutch baby pancake is an absolute indulgence. Bourbon caramelized bananas juxtaposed against lightly fluffy yet chewy pancakes with an added crunch from toasted pecans. Veritably deemed indulgence comes in the form of an added scoop of vanilla cream and maple syrup—even more reason for Sunday brunch! 😋 Read the full review on the blog.
Really cool supermarket 👍 an epicurean delight with a huge collection of wines, foods from all over the world and a yummy food to go section. Best of all, the sampling sections, like this one pictured here, are worth getting your hands sticky!
They serve savoury and sweet waffles here. Waffles Royale is a take on the classic all-day breakfast favourite; Eggs Royale atop a waffle. Their waffle has a light, fluffy batter that was blander in taste so that it actually goes better with the savoury flavours. Poached eggs were runny, though the Hollandaise sauce could be more flavourful. Still good if you are on the lookout for savoury waffles.
This is a slice of sunrise we had yesterday.

This is a classic Pancake stack at Seasons Bistro. Those who have tried this pancake will agree with me that it was comfort food at its best.
From Club House; sister cafe of Club Meatballs at China Street. Jaffles as they claim are Australian-styled pressed sandwiches; a bit gimmicky because they seemed the same as toasties to me. Enjoyed it nevertheless; the stringy cheese, spicy and tangy tomato-based sauce and tender pulled pork were comforting for a late but light breakfast.
Early birthday treat for the sista so it's sweets again! •

Spongey puffs that has lightly-flavoured butter cream encased within. While it is not as flavourful as traditional ones, it is also less jelak to have as well. They are so generous with the cream that the puffs explode with the first bite!
According to the staff, the peanut butter gives a thicker consistency to the cake. Maybe that's why it wasn't flowing out like a lava. Also, the ice cream was very icy. A yummy chocolate cake nonetheless.
