Tastes exactly how you would imagine! Unagi is flavourful and rich, fried mantou is crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside! A very rich dish, so is recommended to share! I had 1 out of the 2 benedicts and felt just right!

The burger was huge! Fat juicy fatty tucked between two fluffy buns was just perfect. The thick slices of bun managed to soak up all the juices that the patty released from every bite! I liked how the tomato juices also mixed with the beef patty, forming a unique concoction of beefy and tomatoey goodness! Buratta cheese was milky and light, adding a hint of richness to the burger. Good value for the price to food ratio!

Ordered a few items to try and this was the dish that really stood out. The chilli packs a punch, yet not overpowering and is in sync with the vinegar that coats the dumplings. The chilli is not only spicy, but flavourful, adding otherwise a dimension most 红油抄手s are lacking. The dumpling skin is silky and smooth, and absorbs a good amount of the chilli vinegar sauce.

Run by three ladies, the cai fan dishes here really taste like home cooked food. It's cai fan that you can eat everyday without feeling sick and tired of, and it's stuff you will crave when you are feeling down or just need a good plate of food to comfort you. A must order is the lor bak - fatty, juicy, you can tell it's a good braised meat when the flavour penetrates the meat and each bite is permeated with the sauce.

Smooth, generous serving of matcha goodness in a cone. Matcha flavour was prominent, and it was perfectly sweetened. Pretty much a go to and no frills kind of soft serve when I have a matcha craving.

Hanare is teppei's sister chain, so the chirashi don is good as always, but I just didn't understand why they used hot rice in the bara chirashi bowl. I was a bit disappointed by that, but overall the sashimi pieces were still well marinated and the side dishes provided were decent.

The char siew is definitely the star of the dish. Tastes like the one from Mitzo, with a caramelised exterior, sweet, and tastes like burnt caramel. Each piece has enough meat and fat, making each bite juicy and full of porky flavour. The best pieces are definitely the pure fatty ones - so sinful but so good!!

Both the roast duck and siew yoke are good as well. Crunchy and crispy skin, and the meat is tender and juicy.

Kay Lee definitely lives up to its name and hype!

Pleasantly surprised by this! Love it that they are generous with the cheese, and every fry is coated with some, without any sad ones that are bare. The kimchi was nice and added a spicy kick to the dish! The sour cream comes in handy if you're not the best at tolerating spice! Definitely one for sharing and it ranks pretty high on my Cheese fries list.

The name pretty much explains the dish. But they revamped the classic Japanese curry and added a load more spices and secret things (I wish I knew!!) which gave the curry a whole new level of umami flavour, and makes me want to fork out $12.90 just so that I can taste the curry again. Try it!!

Wolf burger patty, truffled mushrooms and onions, Swiss cheese. Sadly, it doesn't taste as good as i remember anymore. But still a very good burger for its price! Beef patty was done well.

Nothing fabulous and nothing bad about this bowl of pork belly don. The egg was quite well executed though! The yolk was custard-like and you could take a bit of it to pair with every scoop of rice instead of frantically trying to catch all the yolk when you pierce other onsen eggs.

The queue speaks for its own. This is not the only Chinese nasi lemak stall in the hawker centre, but this stall has its own core group of loyal customers, and each of them often walk away with multiple packs of food in tow. I am personally a fan of their fried chicken cutlet. The chicken is still juicy, not over fried, and the batter is how Chinese nasi lemak chicken should be - complements the chicken and a unique taste of its own. Do give this a try!
