Went for the combo for four which comes with a 1.5lb lobster, four mains, four sides and four drinks. While it was pretty good value, I would probably return just for the very satisfying lobster roll ($28)
While the cafe was rather inaccessible, the pastries were worth the trip! Had their Halloween specials and particularly enjoyed the choux.
Light and fluffy pancakes topped with flame-torched caramelized bananas, caramel sauce & maple syrup. This was a winner for me!
+ An affordable option and large servings
- I found that the pancakes were a tad undercooked and had an overly eggy texture
Pretty sizeable portions and affordable too with Burpple’s one for one discount. Expect a pretty long wait for your food during the weekends though.
Good selection of ice cream flavours, only gripe was that the egglet could perhaps have been more crisp, otherwise it was overall a good combination!
The portion here was fairly generous, the unagi was noticeably more crisp and charred which was quite to my liking though perhaps it could have used more sauce.
Relaxed vibes in an alfresco setting, loved the hummus with minced lamb, pretty interesting options with a Mediterranean twist as compared to the usual brunch fare offered in most cafes
My go-to flavours are always the Yuzu raspberry and the Ispahan, the cakes here are consistently good and not too sweet! The new range of Gryphon cold brewed teas complement these treats perfectly
After trying most of the Korean establishments in the Telok Ayer area, Hyangyeon continues to be one of my favourite places for lunch. The lunch set allows you to add on a plate of beef/pork for only an additional dollar and comes with a free drink, all for less than $20!
Delicious lunch boxes with a choice of various meats, would recommend the spicy fried chicken
Great home style Chinese cuisine, would recommend the scallion pancakes and guo tie.
