1. Mini Snow Skin Green Tea Paste with Azuki Red Bean Mooncake 迷你冰皮绿茶与日本红豆月饼
This is good, really good. If you are a green tea lover, you will love the joyful bitter in the not-too-sweet paste. Highly recommended!

2. Azuki Red Bean Paste and Pine Nuts 日本红豆沙松子月饼
This, from the baked mooncake range is very good, I must say. Not the normal kind of kucing kurak red bean paste. Full of flavour, not dry not too wet, texture is just nice, and not scaringly sweet too. Shirley ate almost 3/4 of it for breakfast while the kids have swim class. Highly recommended!

3. Baked Mooncake with Mixed Nuts and Jamon Iberico 伊比利亚火腿五仁月饼
Special mention goes to the very yummilicious Iberico ham found within the chewy mixed nuts 五仁 mooncake. The Spanish Iberico pork is the "bestest" pork in the world so this makes sure your mid autumn calorie-loading is not wasted. Highly recommended!

Taman Jurong's 58 BCM has been around for the longest time for as long as I can remember. I must have been eating it for a min of 30 years.

At the site of this same hawker centre of present day, used to house a very dirty, dark and wet hawker centre. At that time, 58 was already a very popular stall. Mum would sometimes ask us to go tabao with a stainless steel container. The people at the hawker centre knows us as the tailor's children. We were quite "famous" then. 😂

At this age, having a hawker stall selling a portion for $2.50 with substantial amount of ingredients and still retaining the same old flavour, is super hard to find. Mine is the $3 portion (bottom left with red chilli).

It's been so long since we last ate #bahkutteh outside because my mum can make a mean one too.

This stall at Sin Ming has been around for decades and we used to go very often as my workplace was nearby. The peppery soup is fiery enough yet thankfully doesn't give me heartburn. The very tender and fresh 猪肝腰子 is not to be missed too! The only thing we didn't order was the 梅菜 cos we prefer kiam chye beh to go with BKT 😂

We enjoyed the meal so much that we tabao-ed another trotter for dinner. Hubby forgot to ask for lean trotter and we brought home a super fatty full-of-collagen piece. 😂😂

Year after year, Mandarin Orchard's traditional baked mooncakes have been consistently good. Made with premium white lotus paste wrapped under a thin crust that is baked to perfection, I released the pent-up sugar craving from the past month (trying to control, you see 😂) and ate up the equivalent of a whole mooncake last night sampling all the signature and new flavours to my heart's content. The best calories are worth sacrificing for 😈
