We went all the way to Tampines to eat this again after our last visit some months back. The homemade toufu was so soft and wobbly. Coupled with the fried stuffs on top (too little though 😂😂) and awesome minced meat gravy, this dish wasn't enough for 4A3C to share. Every drop of gravy was wiped out before other dishes.

The funny thing was, we happily ate until the end then sort of realized our favourite enoki was missing cos it didnt register to anybody that we already ate it (the fried stuffs). 😂

We are all used to the other very nice Braised Assorted Mushroom Homemade Toufu nearer to our house at Kranji Seafood. 😅

 With a tall slice of toasted caramelised bread forming a fortress surrounded by banana slices, small bricks gutted out from the middle filled the protected arena with love and protection.  Too bad that we were given a knife.  The poor toast got wiped out by sweet-toothed bloggers in no time! >.<

The 30-day aged NZ Ribeye marinated with sesame sauce and garlic grilling on a piece of Japanese Houba (Magnolia) Leaf had a nice scent of aroma when served.

Though medium-well cooked by the time we ate, it was quickly finished off due to the decadent richness from the generous marbling of the ribeye because no other cut of beef has the amount of fats that a ribeye does.

At $18.80, it has a portion that is enough to be served with just a bowl of fragrant Japanese rice and soup. I would bring my hubby to try it again at @hoshigaokasg , medium rare the next time. ♡

My aunty instinct told me to pay for it first while waiting for my friends to arrive. Lucky I did just that since its the last shiny loud bright green piece of thing in the dessert display.

The Ondeh-Ondeh Cake was made with salted Coconut Bavarian cream (I don't know what's that but its darn yummy), salted Gula Melaka sauce (there was too little though), kaya and a sweet sable base (French thin butter cookie).
.
The overall combination felt like eating a smooth salted caramel icecream that does not melt. Generally it was sweet but not overly so and I would love to have another serving anytime.

I was wondering what the 2 pieces of white loti were doing on top. Then I tried to eat it together with the other ingredients slapped onto it. And there wasn't enough bread for the entire serving.

After most of the portion is devoured, I finally realised it's existence with half of a piece of bread left. That is, for me to wipe the plate clean. Pls remember to do just that!!

I googled and found out more about Tajima cows this morning.
.
"Tajima-gyu" cows originally came from Tajima, a mountainous region in the north of Hyogo Prefecture which is bordered by the sea. .
Tajima cows are genetically strong and are highly prized as purebred seedstock cattle in the breeding of Wagyu cattle throughout Japan. They have also been used for crossbreeding, so many excellent Wagyu brands such as "Kobe beef", "Matsusaka beef" and "Omi beef" have inherited their genes.
.
However, mating and crossbreeding between Tajima cows raised in Hyogo Prefecture and other breeds of Wagyu cattle from other prefectures is still avoided today in order to maintain completely pure bloodlines. These cattle are supported by the love and pride of farmers who are trying to protect some important heritages, namely Tajima cows and Kobe beef.

Tajima beef has a BMS range of 3 to 5. What we had yesterday was grade A4 wagyu served at a pocket friendly price of $21.80++.
