( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Bless you MOS burger for making everything so great

Albeit expensive (around $45? I forgot but 25 per person with the other charges) this platter never fails to satisfy. Tip: Mix the rice with the squid bc the sauce goes along with rice really well.

"Is it sweet?" "No, not at all." I'm afraid I was lied to! Interesting concoction but definitely on the sugary side and more of 'ondeh ondeh' than 'latte'. You can also probably get a better deal for your caffeine fix at this price. Coffee aside, it's a lovely place to chill with wifi and plugs and sunshine coming through the whole cafe. Staff don't really stand out for their service, most of the time they look quite done with work.

A bit on the dry side, but great pancakes nonetheless. Love the crumble and pear was well poached -- it's a funny combination but I guess it works! Aesthetically pleasing as well.

Simple but well executed (toast, avocado, poached eggs), though at the price you pay which is about $13(?) making this at home can save your wallet....!!!

They ran out of gula melaka cake and so the cafe staff recommended us this. Not too sweet, I love the combination of flavours (berry/rose/pistachios on too and in the middle of the cake). 💕 Love it!

Run by friendly Singaporeans who are passionate about creating an authentic izakaya experience, Shukuu is a homey, comfortable spot to wind down a big group of friends. Its unpretentious vibe puts you at ease instantly, as you sit back and nurse a cold beer. For a refreshing start to the meal, get the Maguro Yukke ($12) — fresh tuna chunks lightly marinated in sesame and la-yu chilli oil, made silky-smooth when the quail egg yolk is mixed in. If you love mentaiko, you must have the satisfying Rosti Mentai ($8), long strips of potato 'noodles' doused in irresistible mentaiko sauce, and the Kani Gratin ($7), a baked crab dish mixed with cheese and mentaiko. From the yakitori selection, go for the generous chicken thigh ($4) which is tender and juicy. Also treat yourself to some Sake no Sakamushi ($12 for three), oysters steamed with a splash of sake! Split a big bottle of house sake ($138 for 1.8L), it's very worth it.
Avg price: $60 per person with drinks

I did question myself. Why the heck are people queuing for $7.90 grated potatoes? So I became one of them, for a solid half an hour or so in a very long line.. my verdict is go for it, I guess.

Crispy outside but still crunchy (like a potato crunch), not too oily, the rosti goes together so well with lemon and sour cream! Top up $6.90 for a Garlic Pork Sausage as I have done. It's simple and delicious.

TBH THOUGH: This dish is ridiculously easy to make, so (as with most things in Marché) it is very overpriced.

For a tasty lunch without hurting your pockets, I'd definitely recommend Hide Yamamoto.

$20 Ramen Set, $30 Robata Set -- Ramen set comes with Gyoza as pictured above, Tonkotsu Soy Ramen with tender fatty pork pieces and green tea (hot/cold). Robata Set comes with small appetisers (I had the most delish marinated tuna cube and konbu), Wagyu Shabu Shabu Slices (like, two or three big ones that melt in your mouth), and grilled fish with rice. Both deals come with Ice Cream dessert.

The food was good, though nothing super impressive that would pull me back. Nonetheless worth a try!

Waffles with S'mores ice-cream. Service was nothing special (staffed by typical ice cream girls, you know 🙂) and good ambience. The S'mores Ice cream was actually not bad when we were trying out ice creams but the waffle really screwed everything up.

Here's one thing -- I like fried ice cream and waffles, but I do not enjoy the reverse. It may just have been a bad day for them, or everybody who goes there may be fried waffle fans, but it's a no from me and my family. Waffle was so oily, the batter's taste stuck to my tongue. It just felt very 'gelat' eating it, and as beautiful as they looked they really disappointed my expectations. I'm not asking for much, will stick to Gelare's half-priced Tuesdays for now.
