Marco Marco serves really good thin crust 10" pizza at affordable prices NETT! Plus, the outlet at Millennia Walk is a hidden jem with not much crowd! Just love their concept & no-frills food.
The thin pizza crust was so flaky that it's comparable to papadum. A succulent blend of mushroom and aromatic truffle oil, Wild Truffle Mushroom ($29++) was definitely my favorite. Loved the "chao-ta" crust look of the Squid Ink ($27++) and the tender squid rings toppings. With the touch of blueberry compote, the Smoked Turkey Swiss ($24++) was a pleasant sweet & savory pizza. Topped with two succulent prawns, spicy lovers would enjoy the Black Pepper Prawn Linguine ($32++). Pumpkin-lovers rejoice as their Macadamia-roasted Pumpkin Salad ($11++) was delicious! Coming in a small box, their truffle fries ($9++) was a tad too expensive for the petite portion. From their limited desserts options, thumbs up for chocolately-rich Bitter & Twisted Chocolate Tart ($6++) that was not too sweet. Skip the Pomegranate Red Velvet Cake ($6.50++), it was just mehh.
The Chicken Kebab Roll ($6.00) was huge and super filling. There are 3 sauces to choose from: Chilli Sauce, Mayonnaise and Hummus. The roll came with generous portion of chicken chunks and was simply delicious.
Priced just at $12.90, you get two huge chunks of salmon skewers and grilled zucchini over a bed of fluffy seasoned Japanese soft grain rice. The tenderness of the salmon just blew my mind. Not forgetting the silky smooth mocha ($6) from Sarnies that was equally awesome. Everything here looks so good that i can't wait for my next visit! #happytummy
Trying out the Swissbake new hot protein salad ($11.90) . They have 2 options: Thai Sweet Chilli Chicken and Oven Baked Salmon. While the slab of salmon was rather generous but the salad toppings could have fare better.
"Woahhh" went my mom when the pretty mountain of stacked shaved iced, melon balls & a scoop of creamy vanilla ice-cream came towards our way. While it's instagram-worthy, this Melon Bingsu ($20++) is definitely loaded with tons of sugar. Be prepared to gulp tons of water!
Milk & Honey serve artisan yogurts at slightly upscale prices as compared to the usual froyos in Singapore. Their unique toppings to choose from definitely speaks for the higher price that you are paying. Choose from homemade macaroons, baked goods to fresh fruits and so much more. Come on, how often do you see macarons as a yogurt toppings. And i've got to say, they can bake damn mean macarons and almond tuiles!
Prices at just $13.90++, the set lunch offers you a variety of mains and drinks to choose from! Their hamburgs and matcha latte are plain awesome and the price just makes everything better!
Strong shot of baileys flavour in this tiny cup ($6.90). The chocolate ice-cream helped to further thickened the chocolate flavor. Alert: You definitely need water after such a rich and decadent cup of chocolate goodness.
Loved the powder and the smooth shaved ice! It maybe one of the cheaper bingsu option ($11.90) at O'ma Spoon, but it's one of my favourite!
Woo, the students can certainly cooked like professionals! Starting off with a Asian-style chicken salad, the salad was good but chicken taste was too "chickeny". The minstrone soup was a tad salty for my liking but I loved the crispy breadstick at the side. When the mains arrive, I was taken aback at the petite-otah-sized fish fillet ): guess they dint want to make us too full as it's a 4-course meal? The beautifully plated dessert was the star of the day. A Chocolate Praline Tart, accompanied by a scoop of mango sherbet, ended the dinner perfectly.
Tucked away in the second floor of Orchard Shopping Centre, KUVO is the quaint little breather from all the hustle & bustle of Orchard Road. Walk into the restaurant and be memerised by the elegant decor & ambience. If you love canapes and sweets, you can't miss their high tea set ($35++) which comes in a 3-tiered refillable stand, accompanied with an array of nibbles' buffet spread.
