Seita's Omakase It's been a while since we visited Terra. I recalled I was impressed with the consistency of the meals I had before at Terra and each time I left satisfied. Terra fuses Japanese with Italian in a way that surprises you of how the pairing could complement in bringing such wonderful taste to your palates. Once again an enjoyable meal, just as before. Terra continues to remain in my list of restaurants to return.

Patatas brava Unique dish and was the highlight of my meal. Price was great as well. Highly recommend.

Brown butter, capers, burdock purée, and a very well-executed local pomfret. Throughout my pomfret-eating years, never would I have imagined it could taste this incredible, in all its crispy-skinned, buttery-fleshed glory. After a separate visit, same fish, with different accompaniments, there I was certain that it was no fluke—@bistronovember does food well (the comforting and the bold), but it does fishes like no other. Go before their pop-up’s gone next month.

Substantial Feed Burger, 35++. Although this may seem pricey, it is a humongous size portion. The burger was cooked and seasoned perfectly with bacon added to give extra crunch. Fries crisp and stayed crisp with a dusting of flavour, and the coleslaw was present to give the veg intake. Service efficient and subtle, and relaxing ambience. Although this branch is closing due to sharing the Robinsons building, I’ll be havin the same dish again at one of the other locations...

Double Fudge Brownie Brownie with PB Ice cream ($16)-crunchy on outside, moist inside. With nuts and wish they had more cherriws with it. PB ice cream lacks that peanut taste 4.25/5

Tenderloin With Lobster Tail idden in third floor of robinson, it's behind a black entrance, no like significant sign that let you know it's here, but inside is a dark bar/restaurant. Bone-In tenderloin ($85) + lobster tail ($25)-Was chewy but still tender. Juicy and very peppery, guess they pepper it at the end? It was a bit spicy from how peppery it was. Lobster tail was somewhat chewy. 4/5

Spaghet lunch 🍝 The marinara spaghetti was not bad for a Thursday lunch with the coworkers ✨ but the sauce was a bit underwhelming in the sense that there wasn’t that much flavor to it. But I did enjoy the pasta- it was more of like a linguine type! And the seafood was okay as well, again, it didn’t really have much flavor to it?? I guess this dish overall was okay but I feel like there are other amazing pasta dishes you can get for a cheaper price at other places. I guess this place is more catered to meats/bbq/grilling that kind of thing so I can understand why their spaghetti wouldn’t be amazing ya kno? Deal used: 1-for-1 main dish lunch

Chicken thigh The chicken was juicy and the accompanying salad was surprisingly tasty. The mashed potatoes were ok. The sauce could have been better but overall with a Burpple 1 for 1 deal it was a yummy and value meal.

Nice food to pair with beer or wine Seafood risotto was delicious. Ingredients were fresh and generous. My hubby had the chicken. Sauce was also delicious. We ended the meal with the pistachio dessert. Not really to my liking abit too sweet. And the ice cream was pandan flavour. Not pistachio. Was expecting for pistachio ice cream hehehe. Sourdough Loaf - Field ($9) This was one of the best sourdoughs I’ve had! It’s chewy but not till the point of a jaw ache, with a well-balanced flavour. A quick search of ‘firebake’ on my telegram chats would show that “I think firebake’s one is v nice/the best/rly good” 🤪 Pictured is a slice slathered with Tasmanian walnut butter, but I eat it plain as well, because it’s that good. I’m really sad that they have ceased operations, thank you Firebake for the great sourdough! :)

Cheesymite [$4.50] Big, flaky, buttery. Would love for the vegemite adn cheese taste to be more pronounced though.

Rustic Chicken Pie [$12] Pie had chunks of chicken mixed with the vegetables, though the mushroom was kind of lacking. We were quite disappointed upon cutting the pie open as it wasn't nicely filled. It was too salty for our tastes as well. Tbvh - personally, would prefer the old school chicken pie.

Authentic Italian Food Managed to get reservation and ordered few dishes such as pizza ($10), fried rice ball ($9), porchetta ($10), parmigiana ($15) & tiramisu ($16). For the quality, I would say the price is reasonable and really worth it

Amaretti They have a section of Italian bakes. This is an almond cookie that's soft inside. The almond whiff was very strong so I'm not a fan.

Burrata pizza lunch 32++ The crust still isn't good. However the rest were still great. Still the best Parma ham I've had in Singapore, but this time the balsamic was abit too much. Lol. Guess they saw my previous review on how they didn't have enough balsamic Consistent.

Mentaiko pasta lunch 27++ Idk if they have a lunch set but their lunch promo is that several of their ala carte items are 10-15% cheaper than during dinner This was mad delicious. The creamy mentaiko sauce was full of mentaiko umami, yet remaining very creamy and somehow light enough, not jelat. I don't usually have cream pastas but this, I couldn't help spooning over and over even after I was done w the pasta Pasta has bite but wasn't al dente. Ikura is bitter, not good But overall, I haven't had a better mentaiko pasta yet. Must try

Whipped bottarga 14++ Their menu is very confusing. Thank god the ala carte menu is available during lunch. The specials menu isn't consistent either, the scanned menu doesn't reflect what it shows on the handwritten board Food: The bagel was good, quite fluffy and quite well caramelised on the exterior The whipped bottarga was delicious. Good umami, there's a little bit of edge but it's forgivable

Torta Caprese, Coffee Crème Anglaise Restaurant Week Autumn 2023 Lunch dessert. Made of 70% chocolate and 30% almond flour, this dessert would have been better complimented with a scoop of gelato.

Pizza Capricciosa ): it was.. disappointing with really sparse ingredients. As pictured, very little ham, shrooms, artichokes. Taste-wise, not too bad (how to go wrong?!) But really nothing close to the generous spread of ingredients in Italy!

Fusion Amusement Loved the dishes we ordered - the lobster mac and cheese was 👍🏼 Missing out the ice kacang cocktail in the photo that I got, which adds a Singaporean flavor to things 🍧 Hope I get the chance to try their buffet soon~ To add, nice ambience for a celebration, a first (official) date, or a quiet night just appreciating the flickering candlelight and the night view of the city 🌃

Oxtail Pie ($25) Saw Fiona's review and knew what to order instantly! In theory, it's considerably easy to make (especially since this is crustless): braise oxtails till fork tender, pull and then top with mashed potatoes. But to make it exceptionally good? You know they went the extra mile. The red wine braised ragout was flavour-packed, while the velvety garlic mashed potato was neither dry nor too greasy. Super comforting! Pro tip: Swing by during lunch and opt for the lunch set (this is one of the options for main). For the same price ($25), you get a main + an appetiser + a scoop of ice cream.
