Very well seasoned meat that pulls apart easily, under crispy crackly skin, all nua-ing on a bed of mash. Satisfying. Pls try the less safe items on menu too, of course 😁
Definitely a different experience; you gotta feel it for yourself. Gravy has a lemony tinge which I'm not used to (lemon zest?) but the sense of nostalgia, well cooked food, large plates and uncle's way of chionging are all worth admiring😁
Pretty cosy place and less crowded and hipster than I expected. More of a neighbourhood feel. The chendol waffles were special as the gelato stands out in its unique flavour but it gets gelat till the end though... Waffles were k(haha). To just chill here would be pretty cool.
I have wanted to try this for the longest time, and it didn't disappoint! Maybe not the bestttt compared to Seoul's, but the nicely seasoned, tender chicken and humorous Korean owner with his friendly jokes (stunned me lol) will definitely win you over. Where else can you get such service? 😍
Saw this on the tv ages ago when I was young, but never had the chance to try. Now that I finally tried, the owner is no longer young too. Thank you for letting me enjoy this, I had a good meal and lovely food I hadn't tried before. It's not hipster, it's not glamorous, but you should really try it.
My perfect beef tartare with 2 hidden quail eggs (with yolks that went pop!) I really loved the seasoning, wished I can do it myself.
Dim lights and chill vibes. A tender meat patty hiding perfectly cooked foie gras. Roasted chicken with black truffles and a distinct taste. Perfect :D
Pretty and buttery waffles with super thick pistachio and salted caramel gelato. Deco is simple, yet calming, with friendly and quiet service too which is almost like a rarity now. If only they switch up the flavors more often, then my 'healing' will be complete. 😁
Chicken roulade stuffed with spinach and drizzle of wholemeal mustard on top was so perfectly tender and flavorful! As were the roasted potatoes. I felt like Christmas has came early 😍 The desserts were really worth it too. Had all these with the eatigo discount ho ho 😁😁
Went for 阿果's merch sale and also to nua at the cafe there, 'cause the local vintage-y feel is irresistable. What's more chill than chilling in a backend of a bookstore? Bakes are normal though, so I would rather just drink, and drink in the cozy atmosphere 😊 And chit chat~ of course.
