Anyhoos, below all the greens, sashimi and roe, lay’s the well seasoned Udon in I dunno what sauce they use but it was so good!! Overall I had a good experience. The only areas of improvement I can highlight is:

My colleague introduced me to this place in 100am when we popped by Tanjong Pagar for an afternoon meeting.

Let me be honest here, I'm not a fan of rojak, specifically the Chinese kind of rojak, complete with fruits and sweet sauce. You won't catch me ordering a plate or Chinese rojak here in Singapore.
However, when I was reading the menu in Madam Kwan's while in KL, the dish "Softshell Crab Rojak" somehow called out to me.
So, I ordered the dish. 🥗
When the dish came, it looked really photogenic. I dug in and took a bite of the crab. It was crispy, light and nicely fried. 👍🏻
I then went for the fruits, I took what looked like an Apple cube and bit into it. Turns out it was a turnip! It tasted so sweet and juicy! The sauce was a good balance of sweet and salty that complimented the fruits nicely. Sedap! 😋
In the rojak there's Apple, Turnip, Cucumber, Tau Pok, Peanut and Rose Apple.
Overall, good appetiser and totally worth ordering! 😁

Disclaimer: I didn't drink this cuppa milkshake because I was down with one of the worst flus this whole year while on a business trip in KL. I did steal sips of it though...teehee!🍦 Each little sip of the milkshake was mind blowing, thick, creamy and had a strong taste of chocolaty goodness with it. My Boyfriend had to stop me from drinking too much of it, least my flu gets worse.🍫 The brownies stuck into the whipped cream were really dense and weren't really sweet. Where the Fish and Chips were great and the coffee too.
My friends and I ordered the Roasted Pork Belly to share (S$29++), together with some other food that I shared in earlier posts.
When the pork belly came, the brown sauce looked enticing! The pork looked tender and the skin looked crispy.
But lo and behold, when we tried to cut the pork the meat was tender as predicted but that skin was in no way crispy! It was the toughest thing to cut through.
After much butchering, we finally managed to get a small piece of the skin and boy was it chewy!
Apart from this fiasco, the meat was well cooked, juicy and it went really well with the Apple purée that was seasoned with I dunno what spices but it's very shiok la.
Would I order this dish again? At first I thought of ordering a big breakfast kinda brunch set but decided on having this Sakura Shrimp Aglio Olio pasta (can't rmb the name of this dish). Reason being...I didn't know that 🌸Sakura Shrimp was this tiny Japanese Shrimp, so I thought there'll be flowers in my pasta! 🙊
Anyways when the pasta came i just dived right into it cos I was starving! The pasta was so well flavoured, the pasta was well coated in the oil and the garlic was fragrant like how a good Aglio Olio should be!
What surprised me the most was the taste of my favourite pork lard (ba you po) in the dish!! I started poking 👉🏻 around my pasta 🍝 but saw no fried pork lard 🐷. So I tasted the Sakura Shrimp and OMG YESSSSS, IT TASTED LIKE PORK LARD!! 😋
The prawn 🍤 which was supposed to be the ⭐️ of the show (I think) didn't stand out as much as my discovery of the Sakura Shrimp. LOL!
Other ingredients like the black fungus have this fusion pasta goodness a good crunchy texture that wasn't too overpowering.
The only complaint that I have is the noisy indoor seating. I think they should have sound absorbing things like plants and cushions. I almost went deaf 😵being inside for 1 hour.

This, the famed plate of Fish and Chips by Gordon Ramsey has gotta be one of the best fish and chips I've ever eaten in Singapore!
