ordered the fish&chips (fries were super good!) and ribeye steak, which was actually very tender. but the show stopper were the cocktails, i had ordered the Wish Upon a Lantern, where you could write down your wishes on the paper, before watching it get lit up, was q a fun experiece. and of course the drink was good as well! overall a good dining experience
tried the chef select menu as we wanted to try a variety of dishes. We were pleasantly surprised with how all the flavours were perfectly balanced, and allowed the quality of each ingredient to shine through.
my favourite was the jumbo tiger prawns, juicy and sweet, especially liked how the sauce complimented them as well! the dry aged kingfish was buttery and a real treat.
rly liked the open kitchen concept and was impressed by the efficiency the crew operated at, would say that they delivered a great dining experience
ordered the chicken soup (1 white, 1 black), and very much enjoyed both. the soups were rich and flavourful, with a strong herbal kick. they rly didn't skimp on the herbs haha. also tried 2 sides, the omelette with cai po and jade tofu. as someone who doesnt especially like tofu, I was pleasantly surprised with how the tofu dish turned out. i also believe the waiter said the raddish and tofus were all made in house.
the service was fast and pleasant, was nice to see that the employees actually seemed like they enjoyed working there, which is rare to see. oh and also, they had free icecream! would go back again to try their other soups
it was a pretty good experience, had the deep fried burrata, which was a pretty unique take!
The wagyu bolognaise was not bad, but yhe bismark blanc pizza was the star of the show! especially liked the sourdough
pretty interesting take on prawn noodles! think they blend the prawn broth w tonkotsu, and it was rich and gao, v flavourful. prawns were v fresh, pork ribs were decent too. went there for the prawn noodles but tried the ngoh hiang platter too, and was pleasently surprised, worth a try if you're there
they did their meats pretty well! the ny strip rly stood out and was very delicious. the honey mustard ribs were tender pretty good, but the sides weren't the best. the service was great tho!
nice cozy place to dine at, food was pretty good! the garlic fried rice was rly fragrant and the mentaiko crab is a must try!
ordered the seafood soup and braised duck. the seafood was very fresh and soup was very flavourful. the duck was slightly overcooked but surprisingly yummy as well
tried the oreo boba yoghurt and watermelon yotea, they were both refreshing and not too sweet. like how the yoghurt adds a nice texture too
