Tolido's is the place to go when we have time off work on a weekday, to relive those schooling years. Since 2015, we have been visiting here and the rosti is a permanent order. For a change, I had pancakes and while they weren't wobbly, they were still fluffy and filled up well. Sides were nothing to shout about. Perhaps time and again, we return for that familiar sense of our *youthful* days.
Rather pleased to find a gelato shop with classic flavors but with a luxurious twist. What I had was a scoop of burnt white chocolate and I finished it - cone and all. Definitely going back for a second visit soon.
Stumbled upon this hole in the wall and discovered a delightful brownie. While on a rather dry side, it had enough chocolate to convince me that my bucks were well worth.
Believe me or not, I had this dish for three consecutive weekends. The sauce itself is savory and has a hint of spiciness which makes the overall dish addictive. Furthermore, the prawns are consistently... succulent.
Hadn't been to twenty grammes for such a long time but it was still as popular as when it was started - really crowded. I had a buttermilk waffle with a scoop of Tokyo Banana. Usually I would finish the waffles and leave the ice cream but I finished the ice cream and left 3/4 of the waffles untouched.
Went to taan over the weekends when we were around the hood. With the 20 skewers for 20 skewers deal, each skewer costs about 90cents. Hits and misses with the satays being my favourite of the lot and the meatballs the least appetizing.
