Booked through @chopesg & they are currently having a 1-1 promo till 31mar! Hereโs what we tried in order of my most preferred to least: โฃ

I honestly find all the dishes pretty good & I enjoyed all of them ๐๐ปBut if you need me to choose, I think both of their meat dishes were delish๐คค โฃ
Crispy skin with juicy & succulent lean meat, perfect for someone like me who dislikes too much fats in my meat! The pork belly was fragrant and soft & the duck confit was tender and niceโค๏ธโฃ
Their pastas were quite good too, flavourful & al dente! ๐
โฃ
Enjoyed dining there in general and find it really value for money with the 1-1 promo! Can check it out if you are looking for somewhere different๐
Our last dish was the Itโs my first time trying this flat, broad pasta option & their rendition had marked a high standard for my future benchmark๐ nv a fan of tomato-based pasta but I actually enjoyed this with their duck ragoutโค๏ธโฃ
โฃ
Next up was the ๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ก๐ซ๐จ๐จ๐ฆ ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐จ๐ญ๐ญ๐จ ๐โฃ
Was surprised to see a mushroom risotto not served in white cream sauce! While the colour doesnโt look too good, it was delish ๐ Arborio rice with porcini mushrooms & parmesan cheese, simple yet authentic & good ๐๐ปโฃ
First up, the ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ญ๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ข ๐โฃ
This ring shaped pasta was served with Iberico Pork sauteฬed with parma ham, broccoli ๐ฅฆ & peas in mint olive oil & topped with parmesan!โฃ
Mint is a big NO NO for me, however as the dish was really savoury & of quality, for the first time I concede defeat and gave in to the mint taste so that I donโt forgo the entire forest ๐ณ The dish will be perfect for me without the use of mint๐โฃ
Also got their ๐๐๐ณ๐๐ฅ๐ง๐ฎ๐ญ ๐๐๐ซ๐ญ as part of the 1-1 deal๐ Hazelnut Praline topped with Hazelnut Buttercream- it feels like I am savouring a ferrero rocher cookie that has a good balance of smooth buttercream & quality pastry crust๐๐ปโฃ
โฃ
Overall I do find their calories worthy tarts a delicious purchase ๐ will try their other tarts if i get a chance in future!
Specially like their ๐๐ข๐ช๐ฎ๐ข๐ ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐ญ๐คค The dark & mysterious looking beauty is made with 72% Dark Chocolate Ganache & upon cutting into it, a ooze of sea salt caramel greets you. While the filling is on the sweeter side, I think it pairs really well with the dark chocolate! I also love the pastry crust which is super sturdy & fragrant๐โฃ
Our second option was a surprise delight ๐We got the ๐๐๐ฌ๐ก๐จ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ ๐๐ ๐ ๐ฌ ($13) which on the menu reads, runny egg & melted cheese ๐ง on a thick toast, served with homemade bacon jam! It looked quite normal when it was served, but WOW, the runny & ozzy egg ๐ณ that came along upon slicing the toast made us burst with joy (i was so excited that I forgot to take any pics)๐ The melted cheese paired with the ozzy egg & the soft fluffy toast is simply a match in heaven๐ wasnโt particularly impressed with the bacon jam but the toast was good enough๐๐ป
We tried the ๐๐ฅ๐ฅ-๐ข๐ง ๐๐ซ๐๐ค๐ค๐ข๐ ($19), which comprises of our choice of onsen eggs๐ฅ, avocado ๐ฅ , bacon strips ๐ฅ, sauteฬed mushrooms, chorizo, sourdough & side salad ๐ฅ The bacon strips were really savoury matching well with the plain sourdough! Overall, a hearty brunch option which made all our tummies very happy ๐ โฃwith the 1-1 mains deal!
Finally found some time to visit the place for the 2nd time & yes, that huge craving fully satisfiedโ๐ปTheir popular bowl of ๐๐๐ฃ๐๐ง๐ ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐๐จ๐ง is still as authentic & good! Slurping up that bowl of QQ noodles drenched in black bean sauce with diced pork, cucumber & onions was extremely satisfying. The uglier & messier that bowl gets, the more delicious it becomes๐คค
โฃ
Dining there makes me feel like I am transported to Korea! Korean music in the background plus Korean waiters & waitresses shouting at the back in Korean, this is definitely authentic enough to engage me in my blackbean craving & affairโค๏ธ
Famous for their Royal Thai Hotpot, they offer a really extensive Thai menu covering almost all the Thai favourites โค๏ธWe were spoilt for choice but eventually decided on the ๐๐ข๐ ๐ง๐๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ ๐๐จ๐ฆ ๐๐ฎ๐ฆ ๐๐๐ฆ๐ ($12.9) to get our Tom Yum fix๐คคโฃ
โฃ
The dish is supposed to come with the tom yum mama curly instant noodles, but i decided to have something smoother that night & opt for a change of the noodles to pad thai instead๐ฌ they were flexible enough to accede to my request & woohoo, it was so yummy! ๐โฃ
โฃ
The hot piping bowl of tom yum came with fresh seafood, sausages, enoki mushrooms, half a hard boiled egg & two thick slices of crispy pork belly that were not too fatty๐ the tom yum soup was flavourful but not too choking or spicy, perfect for my tom yum craving that evening๐๐ป
โฃ
I enjoyed the warm dining experience there as well, making me feel like I am back to the land of smiles ๐น๐ญ will definitely be back to try all the other dishes๐ฅฐ
Highlight of the evening has got to be the ๐๐๐ข ๐๐๐ซ๐ญ๐๐ซ ๐๐๐ง๐๐จ ๐ค ๐ฅช- its so yummy!!! Look at that ultra thick ebi katsu 100% handmade using Black Tiger Prawns๐คฉ Sandwiched between two slices of Hokkaido milk toast & eaten together with the homemade tartar sauce, it was so homely & good๐ Reminded me of a home-made sandwich dish that I had during a farm visit in Hokkaido๐ฏ๐ตโฃ
โฃ
Oh yes, & special mention to 2 of their izakaya sides- ๐๐๐ค๐ฎ๐ซ๐ ๐๐๐ข ๐๐๐ค๐ข๐๐ ๐ & ๐๐ก๐ข๐๐ค๐๐ง ๐๐๐ซ๐๐๐ ๐, they are the best sides to pair with the mains or a good drink ๐ปโฃ
๐๐ฏ ๐๐ฃ๐ช ๐๐ง๐ง๐ข๐ช๐ณโฃ
โฃ
This new Japanese Ramen Bar & Cafe features authentic Hokkaido style ramen & Japanese sandwiches ๐ ๐ฅช & i really like the cosy spaceโบ๏ธโฃ
โฃ
Shrimp+ Tonkotsu Ramen lovers, you are in for a treat as their ramen broth uses a combination of both Pork bone & Ebi boiled for hours to give its unique taste! Hereโs what we tried: โฃ
โฃ
๐๐ฉ๐ข๐๐ฒ ๐๐จ๐ค๐ฎ๐ฌ๐๐ข ๐๐๐ฉ๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐จ ๐๐๐ข ๐๐จ๐ง๐ค๐จ๐ญ๐ฌ๐ฎ ๐๐๐ฆ๐๐ง- Served with 2 tiger prawns ๐ฆ & sakura ebi tempura flakes, I like it that the prawn broth was distinct but not too strong & could still bring out the flavour of the tonkotsu base. They have a non-spicy option but the spicy option worked well for me by adding that layer of shiokness๐โฃ
โฃ
๐๐ข๐ซ๐ข๐ค๐๐ซ๐ ๐๐ก๐ ๐๐ฉ๐ข๐๐ข๐๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐จ ๐๐๐ฆ๐๐ง- tasted as its named, itโs spicy๐ถ I like it that the aromatic black garlic oil flavour oozes out 1st before the spiciness comes as an aftertaste! Try it if u r up for a hot experience๐ฌโฃ
โฃ
๐๐จ๐ค๐ฎ๐ฌ๐๐ข ๐๐จ๐ค๐ค๐๐ข๐๐จ ๐๐จ๐ง๐ค๐จ๐ญ๐ฌ๐ฎ ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐จ ๐๐๐ฆ๐๐ง- never a fan of miso ramen even during my stay in Japan, but i like the use of sweet corn in their rendition, making the soup base really fragrant๐โฃ
