The burgers here are great! Very juicy beef patties and soft buttery brioche buns. Good cocktails, and fries were flavourful and yummy. I think we really enjoyed the portobello, which is roasted mushrooms on toast (pictured in the middle)!

we donât normally leave bad reviews, but i wouldnât recommend coming to this place at all, for the high price point and bad food quality. The best (out of the worst) dishes are the ones pictured, the potato mochi and salmon tartare, which are just mediocre.
We were excited to try their iberico secreto don, but they told us they didnât have rice. so we ordered their tagliatelle BUT surprise, they didnât have tagliatelle too. so we only had 3 items to choose from their mains. truffle mushroom rigatoni was bland, pasta was hard, and the flavors werenât balanced at all. the salmon sashimi was incredibly bright orange, kinda sus; other sashimis werenât great too. iberic pork shoulder was veryyyy porky and chewy. pizzas were super small, and their five cheese pizza had goat cheese on it (which isnât stated on the menu) - it was so strong and just terrible. i could still smell/taste the goat cheese long after the meal was done.

my fave pizzas were wish i was a baller and mexico by day! their fries and buffalo wings were also very yummy.

one of the better tonkatsu restaurants in singapore! we got the normal rosu katsu (160g) and a cheese millefeuille katsu. i do find that the katsu can be a little too âmeatyâ, so do take note if youâre sensitive to the meat smell. imo the mille feuille is a little dry, but w the cheese it kinda helps!
you can also choose between brown rice or normal rice, and thereâs free flow veggie, soup & rice too! it can get quite crowded during dinner time, so be sure to go early.

rigatoni w wild boar ragout: this was honestly superrrr good. the wild boar meat was juicy and soft, not what i was expecting at all. rigantoni was al dentĂŠ too!
wild mushroom ragout on bread: in my opinion, this was the best dish. the ragout was so creamy and fragrant without being too heavy. absolutely our fave dish.
coucou burger (sept menu): super juicy angus beed patty! super delicious, but nothing too special about it, just a regular burger w fries.
rosti zermatt: this is what rosti should taste like! crispy edges and fluffy interior đŽâđ¨â¨ i did find it abit salty because it was covered in raclette cheese. the ham was pretty normal too.

this is our 2nd time eating zuzu and the quality + portion is consistent. we ordered the butter rice w chicken and the chicken kebab. very generous w the portion, the owner gave loads of chicken, seems like thereâs more chicken than rice (not complaining)!!! the meat is very juicy and perfectly seasoned. though the wait is long (but he has someone helping him now), itâs definitely worth the wait!! can try out other food or drinks at the hawker center while waiting :)

ordered the babaganoush (not pictured), beyti chicken kebab (not pictured), tas kebab (behind), and chicken mussaka (front). everything was super delicious and flavourful! i really loved the chicken kebab because the chicken is flame grilled and has a very intense âwokheyâ taste! it went really well with their housemade sauce, which is something like sour cream with dill. the tas kebab is a beef dish and the beef is SO tender! but i personally donât like red peppers, and this dish had the red pepper taste. mashed potatoes are super creamyyyyy! would definitely come back here again for some really yummy turkish food and a good ambience!! đ¤Šđ¤Šđ¤Š
had to get the famous wagyu beef cubes ($18), truffle moonlight horfun ($23), their ebi katsu sando ($18). i get why their beef cubes are so hyped up â its really good! there was a nice char (or wok hey) on the beef, it was so tender, and the sauce it came w was amazing!
the horfun was so yummy too. the truffle oil wasnât too overpowering and they were very generous w their wagyu striploin beef pieces! i kept eating them but they never seemed to finish (good problem HAHAHAH). one downside is that there was a lot of tendon and muscle on the beef slices, making them abit hard to chew and swallow.
imo, the ebi katsu sando seemed a little lean, but my friend seemed to enjoy it. i didnât get to try it so i canât comment on the taste of this dish!

tried caffe cicheti so we wanted to try bar cicheti as well. had high expectations bc caffe cicheti was sooooo good, but we were kinda disappointed with the pastas â we ordered the tagliolini ($32) and bucatini ($30).
the tagliolini had good flavour, a hint of spice, and lots of fresh prawns. the bucatini was v e r y salty, and this is coming from a person who kinda likes salty food so⌠maybe the pecorino and guanciale ratio was off? đ overall it was average, not mind blowing like caffe cichetiâs pasta choices.
their starters were good though, we hard the burratina ($26) and scallop crudo ($26). the burrata is very fresh and the bread they gave is so yummy and toasted to perfection. their scallops are very fresh and the mix of flavours is interesting, but we enjoyed it!

their pork belly fried w olive leaves ($24) is a must order when you come here! the dish is so flavourful and the pork belly has just the right amount of fat. we tried the grilled chicken w mapo tofu ($24) and itâs yummy too, albeit abit salty. the chicken isnât dry at all and the mapo taste is great!
the whole time he was eating, he kept nodding his head at how good everything tasted, so i think this is a pretty good sign for you to try this place! đĽ´

hands down the BEST maguro weâve ever had! we ordered age jyu ($20+), queen don ($35+), kani cream croquette ($14.80+), and maguro 5 cuts sashimi ($52+). everything was so fresh and their age jyu blew my mind. its similar to tendon, fried veggies and seafood served on top of rice. everything was still crispy up till my last bite, and it didnât feel too oily as well.
the queen don had generous pieces of maguro sashimi and the cuts are inbetween otoro and chutoro. the croquette was very unexpected, i didnât think i would enjoy it as much as i did! the cream isnât too overpowering, and the flavours are incredible! also didnât feel oily after eating it.
lastly, the star of the show is their 5-cuts maguro sashimi (pictured). truly amazing cuts of maguro! it was very very fresh and our fave was of course otoro. maguro lovers definitely have to come here! and even if youâre a sake lover, this place might just change your mind heheh

went back to pipes twice, bc it is just that good! we really enjoyed the toasted buttery slices of bread packed with LOADS of filling. i got the nitamago potato salad ($14) which features soy-marinated eggs, house made potato salad, truffle oil and veggies. the eggs are cooked to perfection and not overly salty! highly rec this if youâre not a meat-lover or just want some eggs (they have an impossible meat option on the menu too). we ordered the iberico katsusando ($22) and the meat is so juicy and flavourful, 100% chefâs kiss!! they give very thicccc slabs of meat as well so youâll definitely be full.
we got their lemongrass chicken sando on our 2nd visit ($14) ((not pictured)), tho i didnât really like this one, he enjoyed it! it has a bit of a viet/thai twist w the addition of lemongrass, and i have to say the chicken is really juicy. their fries is really good too â thin, crispy, and just the perfect amount of salt. we chose the truffle aioli to go w the fries and it was super yummy!
