Judging by how the medium is actually more tender and juicy, I might never go back to the past days of medium-well steaks 😍 The charred bits add nice dimension to the steak. Good enough to be eaten on its own, I'd prefer to omit the mushroom sauce. Doing all veggie sides because the mashed potato last time wasn't good 😔 Certainly not the best steak I've devoured but a good value for money ☺

😆 Not only that this is cheaper ($4.30 for 6 XLBs), they also taste yummy. Having thinner but even skin, each of the XLB delicately packs flavorful broth and pork paste without getting that accidental messy skin-breaks 😀 I believe this one is a bit milder in taste compared to my previous fav at Whampoa, but I love the fact that it doesn't have that strong porky aroma 😂 I'm not a huge fan of pork apparently 😵

Each bowl is topped with heaping cubes of fresh sashimi 😋 Salmon, salmon belly, tuna, tako, ikura, cucumber and the tamago work harmoniously to make this a memorable dish. Using kinme rice, a special type where the nutrient-rich layer of skin coating each grain of rice is preserved, it tastes a bit different from the usual Japanese rice. It absorps more water so you can consume 10% less calories, yet taste-wise I prefer the usual rice 😂 However, I found the rice and the salad dressing makes a brilliant match 😆 I just dip my rice in the dressing and I kept digging in even after I finish all other dishes 😝

They're really chunky and fresh, and I still have leftover after I finish every other ingredients in the bowl 😍 With complimentary superfood and lots of vegetables, it feels so healthy 😝 You can choose between having the freedom to pick what shows up in your bowl or just going for a "default" combination instead.

When I first walked in to Lowercase, I was in awe. Very comfortable place to work & study. Excelent wifi, free flow water, delicious cakes. I like the balance of sweet and tart, although I only managed to eat small bites at a time so it won't be too overpowering. No loss though, can spend longer time working on assignment in the cafe 😁 Only down side was my table does not have any power plugs.

I like the contrast of texture between the moist cake, luscious cream cheese, and surprise bites of chunky nut 😋 Not heavily spiced but still have nice cinnamon flavor. So good.

I'm not a veggie expert though, so I don't even know what type of veggies are on my pizza except for broccolli and zucchini. My best guess for the rest would be artichoke and yellow eggplant(?) If there is even such a thing 😂

I think I have just found myself a perfect place to study! Lots of pastries to satisfy my study-hunger strike, wifi available under CapitaLand, powerplugs, and free flow of water 😀 And... seats next to Raffles City fountain is available, so I can watch the water shoots up then collides back to the ground 😝 Quite calming and a good refreshment. My only problem is I feel a bit cold there, but a jacket will do.

😝 This Earl Grey Swiss Roll ($5.90) certainly has done her job very well. Prominent earl grey flavor in the fluffy cream without being bitter nor overly sweet. The sponge cake is soft and not dry. I'm not keen on swiss rolls but this one is quite nice 😊

Done a whole lot of things here so I say it's a very conducive place for work and study 😆 They have wifi and free flow of infused water. Didn't spot any power plugs though. They have a very cozy and quiet atmosphere.

😍 This delicious burger ($7+, U.P. $14+) consists of perfectly toasted handmade sesame bun, very thick and juicy beef patty, melted cheddar, 2 slices of crispy bacon, gooey sunny side up, complemented with greens, and one slice of tomato and cucumber. I really pay attention to my burger buns, and this one is so soft but crispy on the outside 😋 Slathered with a special mix of mayonnaise, the bun is good enough on itself. It is a huge burger so I had to dissect it apart 😂 Thoroughly enjoyed getting my hands dirty on this 😆

The cafe is quiet enough for work, with wi-fi provided. However, you need to pay for water and it is not refillable 😔 With the discount, it's super worth it 😁 Without discount, I'm eyeing for the set lunch for $9.90+ with mains, soup, dessert, and drinks next time🤔 Okay I admit, and the lava cake as well.

Chewy noodles with refreshing sweet and sour sauce, yummm 😍  Chirashi is a let down though, I found much more cucumber and tomatoes than the sashimi chunks 😥 Doesn't taste that fresh either... Is it why we were the only one dining there? 😂
P. S. @tastytested's choice of Saba set meal is much nicer though 🤔
