The perfect comfort food! It’s good for rainy day (or hangovers). Noodles were soft and smooth. Beef was Super melty and tender. The mixed soup was pretty mild. I suggest going for the red soup option if you want some sort of spicy kick to the meal. REMEMBER TO ADD PICKLED VEGETABLES!!!! Totally transformed the dish.

This dish stuffed with leak and deep fried! There’s minimal intestine-y smells so it’s great if you wanna start getting into pig intestines. It’s really quite a yummy start to the meal.

I’ll come just for this small plate. They don’t do desserts in Sichuan but as Singaporeans, anything sweet is immediately grouped as dessert! Have this at the end of your meal to balance it all out with silky smooth refreshing sweetness! It is ‘liang’- Chinese for containing cooling properties! What I loved is how well-thought our this dish was. The salty crunchy nuts nicely juxtaposes the sticky sweet chewy glutinous rice cure and sauce. It’s definitely a reversed gui lin gao but AMPED up. YUM!

Craving thick creamy Japanese curry and tempura? For the price, this meal was pretty dang good! Generous in portion and not too oily for how crisp the batter was! It was perfectly flaky on the outside and juicy on the inside. YUM. Also the curry had a level from 1-4, 4 being the spiciest. I opted for level 3 and it was alright. If you like something spicier, go for 4.

Affordable, no-frills, satisfying! If you’re around town and crave prawn noodles, check this spot out! They offer both dry or soup options and I opted for the latter. The soup was flavourful enough and the portions were pretty generous. Came with three prawns and a couple of pork slices. Pretty alright for the price and convenient location!

There’s just something about the intimate, no frills, casual setting of the satay bar. It’s right beside the famous Little Vietnam but for a newly opened spot, it can definitely hold it’s own. Come for fresh icy cold drafts of Guinness accompanied by a couple plates of grilled skewers. The service is TOPNOTCH- Super friendly and warm. Love the vibes here. And the food is sooooo goooood, especially for the price. It’s definitely a go-to hang out spot for friends. Loved the thigh and thigh w leek, the grilled chicken cubes were juicy and just exploded with flavour with each bite. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SPOT!

I never knew I quail eggs could taste this good! With the smoky salty creamy garnishing of mentaiko, it completely brought this simple snack to the next level! Asparagus bacon was nice and crunchy with a savoury salty kick to each bite. Perfect when knocking back a cold one!

Our starter of choice- no regrets there! The silky smooth cubes of tofu melts in the mouth with each bite, balancing the stronger saltier flavours of the century egg. Mmmmmm!

Basically an elevated version of an iced matcha latte. This pretty thing comes with a scoop of strawberry ice cream plopped onto a glass of matcha and served with some warm milk. You pour the milk onto the ice cream and it all melts into a yummy concoction. If anything the only tragedy that occurred was the one brought upon my wallet 💾💾💾

Basically the ‘big breakfast’ option of the menu, choose between smoked salmon or chicken. We got the latter and it was pretty alright. The chicken was moist and tender, yet the skin was flavourful and nicely seasoned. The ingredients were fresh and overall satisfying- although for the price, I wasn’t blown away. Lovely environment though. Lots of dogs!

A yummy, albeit, expensive concoction to give you a refreshing, otherworldly sugar high. Strawberry purée/ syrup (but not the cheap kind) and a varied assortment of berries cut up, mixed into soda water makes for a very pretty prop for photos!

It’s like two chewy warm pita breads enveloping a Korean bowl, minus the rice- Seasoned Bulgogi Beef, Picked Jalapeños and caramelised onions with romaine lettuce, shredded cabbages and a nice slice of tomato. Will be back for more! Cola fans, I recommend trying their very exclusive, only-sold-here craft bubbly nutmeg soda ‘AKA Cola’. Add on a meal and get the drink with a side of ADDICTIVE spicy fries for ($4)!
