I might be biased since I grew up with this, but this is the best I've tried so far. For years, weekends saw my family driving to this coffeeshop for kway chap. My dad would queue while I sat patiently at the table waiting for a glorious plate of perfectly braised pig intestines, tau kwa, pork, and hard boiled eggs all drenched in savoury zhup. I always attacked the pig intestines first — and still do today — they're my absolute favourite. I haven't come across any kway chap stall that braises their tau kwa as well as this stall does. Or perhaps I choose to remain partial. I've been eating the kway chap from this stall for as long as I can remember — from having to sit on two stacked plastic chairs just so I could reach the table and barely being able to finish half my bowl of kway, to being able to polish off a bowl of kway and an entire plate of 'liao' (and more). I have also grown to adore the chilli which is just a little bit sour to brighten up the whole meal. There's just something extremely comforting about the food that you grew up eating, and it never fails to hit the spot. I don't have this as frequently any more, but when I do, I can't help but think about how much work these hawkers put in, and how privileged I am since many of them will be retiring soon! #Hawkerpedia
#02-34 reads Lin Ji Sliced Fish Soup & Handmade Noodles. I prefer fried fish soup more than sliced fish but however this stall's fried fish has more batter than fish meat. The soup, however is tasty and they would ask if you would like to add egg (no charge!) doesn't leave a lingering taste for me to have craving for it when time comes again though.... #Hawkerpedia
Whopping portion of brioche blanketed with slices of smoked salmon, which also conceal the spinach that is typical of eggs Florentine. Two perfectly poached eggs lounge comfortably on the soft folds of salmon; with a stroke of my knife, their molten yolks descend in a flood of bright yellow that looks oh-so-pretty against the backdrop of rumpled coral fish. I liked the addition of capers, whose piquant sour-salty flavour cut through the richness of the hollandaise nicely, though I could have done with a little less of the wiry alfalfa sprouts.
What we have here is the Blackforest Brandy Sphere($4.50)- I was abit excited and nervous popping one of these into my mouth, it wasn't very big but neither was it thatttt small.
After placing it into your mouth, one slight pressure and "pop!" and liquidity substance explodes in your mouth, bursting with flavour! And after you swallow, you'll taste the chocolate cake crumbs and dill scathered on the sphere. And the dill, strangely gave me a fillet-o-fish taste in the end.
Wow. This slab was cooked to perfection. The restaurant is compact yet cosy, and reservations are highly recommended. I'm definitely coming back for more.
Located just outside Bukit Timah Plaza, it only starts serving brunch food from 10am onwards😅 went so early I had to wait. But as it was father's day, the place was already filled before 10am. Dads were offered a free cup of latte on this day too 😊 Food was good! Though despite the rave, I couldn't really taste that unique yuzu sauce for my egg benz (Ocean Thirteen) But it was still not bad. Items featured in the picture include: Ocean Thirteen $17/The Conquistador $19/BYOB with so many items it amounted to $21. Verdict: Love the food here. Surprisingly, the BYOB breakfast platter is more appetising to me. Imo, it's better than most mediocre egg benz and breakfast food out there! 4.30/5.0.
It ticks all the right boxes in my book of good food — toasted sourdough, braised ox cheeks, perfectly light yet rich hollandaise, and rockets! And coffee is always great here too. Ok, that's all.
The Spanish really know their pigs well and they do it right.

Chilli Crab Cake Burger and PBandJ French Toast. Will love it even more if it comes with more peanut butter! *drools* But nice mix of berry compote with peanut butter, plus the ice-cream! Good food doesn't have to look pretty!
