Finally had the chance to try the Mentaiko Salmon Bowl ($10) from Lagoon in a Bowl located at Amoy Street Food Centre.

People who are familiar with me, will know that I am actually secretly a 😸 who loves mentaiko & salmon a lot! So when I happened to pass by Lagoon In A Bowl, it is like 走过路过不要错过. The salmon is nicely prepared with torched mentaiko and it literally melt in my mouth.
The oozing egg yolk flows out and it goes well together with the salmon bowl. 📍 Lagoon in a Bow

Served sizzling warm, visit The Butcher’s Kitchen to enjoy Singapore’s First-ever Whisky Char Siew!
The Butcher’s Kitchen is strategically located at level 2 of Suntec City and the restaurant focuses on the 5Gs-Good Food, Great Happiness, Good Source, Good Health and Good Life! It is an extension of The Butcher, a renowned Australian butcher which was established in Singapore since 2003.
The Butcher’s Kitchen has recently launched its whisky series menu and one of my favourite would be their whisky char siew. The whisky char siew ($12.80) which comes together with the home made wanton, char siew and the noodles is certainly something which people of all ages would enjoy. The char siew is accompanied with light whisky taste and springy noodles.
Apart from that The Butcher’s Kitchen serves the flaming char siew ($10.80) and aburi char siew ($8.80) which is something that local delights lovers would enjoy.

Thank you @thebutcherskitchensg for the warm hosting, & @brandcellar for the invite and warm hosting! 📍The Butcher’s Kitchen (Suntec City Mall, #02-472)

As some may know I am actually a huge fan of llao llao’s yogurt, and I frequent there almost every other week to enjoy their yogurt with either pistachio/ lotus biscuit sauce!
I was really excited when @llaollao_sg annouced about the launch of the new flavour and tbh we were not informed about the name of the flavour prior to receiving it. I was pleasantly surprise and happy when we received the yogurt and found out that the new flavour is actually of my favourite, caramelized cookie.

The new yogurt flavour taste 👍, with a light caramelized cookie taste. Personally I feel that it will go well together with the berries such as strawberry, blueberry etc.

A good news to all, Llao Llao will be launching a new outlet at Wisma Atria (#B1-64A), and the caramelized cookie flavour will be firstly available at the outlet sometime next week. Do stay tune to llaollao_sg instagram page for more updates.

note: pictures are for illustration purposes.

Thank you @llaollao_sg for sending the new flavour for me and my loved ones to enjoy 😋. 📸: @llaollao_sg

One of my favourite sushi hangout place to enjoy their salmon sushi ❤️.

Su Korean Cuisine is definitely a hidden gem in Toa Payoh which serves quality korean bbq at affordable price.

We happened to chance by the store while walking around Toa Payoh and it was saddening to know that they will be relocating to Peace Centre soon.

Do visit their new outlet if you are keen to try the food.

Ever seen a black unicorn while enjoying a bowl of Chawanmushi? It’s time to explore the unique mythical chawanmushi at Uncle Kiisu. The chawanmushi bowl comprises of overflowing ikura, tobiko, scallop and a unicorn!
I was really excited to try this unique dish after ordering it and indeed it did not disappoint me. The Chawanmushi is a must try item from the store and it is relatively affordable ($3.80++). Wondering if anyone is also a fan of chawanmushi too?

If you are a fan of char siew/ siok bak, yet at the same time wanting to maintain a healthier & balanced diet, time to visit Roast Paradise @ Tampines Mall’s Kopitiam.

Roast Pradise serves KL style char siew that is juicy and tender, it taste especially shiok with the caramelised outer layer and dipping it into the sauce. If you prefer leaner meat, you can enjoy the Paradise Salad Platter ($6.50). The platter comes with a combination of char siew and siok bak, and vegetables such as lettuce, carrot and cucumber.

Personally, I love their caramalized char siew a lot and will definitely revisit the store soon. Definitely a yummy gem in the east!

Thank you @roastparadise for the invite & the warm hosting!

Another reason to visit KINEX is to visit Fatburger, a burger food chain which originated from Carlifornia. What I personally love about Fatburger is that the store prepares the burger freshly upon every order made by the customer.

Fatburger utilizes fresh ingredients and the traditional cooking methods to prepare their food. Moreover, they are well-known for their fresh and never frozen lean beef, chicken etc. Their home made onion rings are really crunchy, tasty and at the same time addictive. This will certainly be a place which I will recommend my friends to enjoy quality burgers and onion rings.

If you are really hungry, why not visit fatburger to join their Quad Burger challenge? The Quad Burger comprises of four beef patties with toppings such as onion, pickles, tomato, lettuce etc. Anyone ready for the challenge? Time to head down to KINEX to enjoy Fatburger.

KINEX is just conveniently located within five minutes walk from Paya Lebar MRT station. It is previously know as OneKM mall. With the re-branding, it is currently more community centric with new offerings, e.g. running track, instagrammable walls, open concept retail store at level 1.

Thank you @singaporefoodlisting for the invite and @kinex.katong & @fatburgersg for the warm hosting.

Craving for some bubble tea? It’s time to visit @rbteasg for their Brown Sugar Boba Milk with Cheese Brulee at KINEX.

Initially, I was rather worried that the drink will be jelat, I was pleasantly surprised that in fact it taste as good as how it looks like. The drink includes brown sugar pearls, chilled milk and it is topped with cream cheese and brown sugar bits sprinkled on it. The staff will then followed by using the torch to torch the brown sugar bits. After trying brown sugar boba milk from a few of the bbt outlets around in Singapore, currently @rbteasg one is my favourite for the brown sugar boba milk, it gives us 一种幸福的感觉.

Since the Guinness mooncake workshop last year, I have been curious about Guinness’s products such as their potato chips, truffle dark chocolate. Now I am here @heytea for their tipsy ice cream- Guinness. The Guinness ice cream is crafted with Guinness Stout and heytea’s signature tea- King Fone.
The ice cream is definitely something perfect for the warm weather and for those who enjoys Guinness stout.

Anyone able to guess the flavour for the other ice cream (right side)?

Introducing one of my favourite vegetarian tze char which I have tasted till today. I have enjoyed their signature sweet and sour delight and it taste really good, in fact it taste much nicer than some of the non vegetarian version sweet and sour dishes. Personally, I like the sauce and it was crispy and tender at the same time.

Their Steamed Jade Wrap, Home made yam treasure ring and their penang sambal king was shiok as well.

Thank you to my dear friend who have introduced and brought me to this plant based specialty restaurant previously and thus me returning here for the second time.
Quoting from their website “If plant-based ingredients could be creatively put together to achieve great taste, more people around the world would be happy to embrace quality plant-based food in their everyday lives”. Indeed, we were blessed and truly enjoyed the food served. Definitely gonna revisit Whole Earth, a michelin guide restaurant in Singapore.
