Not to worry about no seats as Tamoya Udon has 75 seater fuss free dining concept conveniently located on level 1 of Liang Court.
.
To celebrate the nation's 🇸🇬54th birthday, @tamoyasgx bring forth 2 new spicy offerings available till end of August 2019.
.
Out of the 2, I prefer the Mala Tonkotsu Udon which is on a mala-scale that's generally more acceptable level and if it is not spicy enough for you, feel free to add on their chili padi 🌶️.
.
For the Spicy Chasu Tsuke Udon, first mix the sparingly udon noodles with a flowly onsen egg, then dip the udon into special spicy dipping sauce that's flavorful and spicer than the mala.

To celebrate Singapore’s 54 years of independence, White Restaurant has recently launched its seasonal Mala White Bee Hoon. If you are a Mala and Bee Hoon fan, I would strongly suggest that its a must to try the mala white bee hoon (small- $9.80++) as it is cooked using the flavourful broth infused with White Restaurant’s Mala receipe.
Personally, I feel that the spicy level is just perfect for me, and the mala fragrance is not too overwhelming, while it retains the flavourful broth of the original white bee hoon.
In order to ensure the consistency and to maintain the standards of their dishes, only freshest ingredients are used in the food preparation. The ingredients are cut in the central kitchen to ensure consistency amongst all outlets.
The signature meat & seafood roll ($13.80++) is another must order item, and it pairs well with the bee hoon! If you would like to enjoy it at home, frozen packed version are also available for purchase and you can just simply thaw & fry it and you will get to satisfy your craving for heizhor at anytime!
Time to head down to any White Restaurant outlets to try the plate of Mala White Bee Hoon and do note that it is only available for a limited time period!
Thank you @whitebeehoonrestaurant for the invite & warm hosting!
As the saying goes “Good things are meant to be shared”. Treat yourself to some sweet treats from @japangourmethallsora at Terminal 1 such as the mixed berry pancakes with your loved ones. Personally, I don’t have a sweet tooth, but I am a fan of berries and the warm souffle pancakes goes really well with my favourite berries and the crushed almonds added a crunchy texture to it.
Sawadee Ka! Looking for an affordable yet delicious thai food around Shenton way area? Time to visit @21angkorwat and try some of their mouthwatering thai dishes.
We have tasted the following dishes on a Friday evening to commence our TGIF:
🍽 Superior Tom Yum Soup ($9.90)
🍽 Basil Seafood ($7)
🍽 Pork Belly ($6)
🍽 Pandan Chicken ($6)
🍽 Mango Sticky Rice ($5.50)
My personal favourite would be the superior tom yum soup, the tom yum soup is tasty and the spicy level is just right to my liking. The chef is generous with the seafood (e.g. tiger prawns, octopus, fish fillet).
Definitely a recommended thai food place for those working in CBD area to visit during lunch hours and dinner gathering with friends!
Thank you @nikolai.wee & @munch.app for extending the invite and @21angkorwat for warm hosting & yummy thai delights!
There are days when you need to reward yourself to some sweet treats to keep yourself going for the long week! Recently we have just enjoyed the Chimney Pistachio ($7.50) at Good Food Coffee & Bakery located at Level 2 of Vivo City, which comes with a fluffy pistachio donut cone and homemade creamy & rich chocolate ice cream. The store uses premium Belgium Dark Chocolate with Japanese Milk without any preservative. For individuals who prefer something savoury, the store serves savoury cones such as Chimney Breakfast, Chimney Tuna / Chimney Salad which we have not had the chance to try it yet. Overall, while having the ice cream, it reminded us of “dirty buns” as it might get a lil messy, yet we have certainly enjoyed it!
Located in the West Wing of @sunteccity , Pasta Supremo serves freshly handmade pasta with interesting fusion options available. One of my favourite pasta would be the Prawn Olio Olio ($20). The prawn olio olio is a fusion pasta dish with an interesting combination of Sichuan style garlic oil which gave me a slight mala tingly sensation on my tongue, with a generous sprinkle of tobiko (Japanese Style) and lap cheong crumbles (Chinese Style Sausage).
On the other hand, Pasta Supremo also serves Stuff on Bread such as the Mushroom & Truffle Cream ($4), Bak Kwa Jam ($5) and Cheesy Cheese AF ($5). Definitely a place where one can consider visiting for fusion pasta!
Located just nearby Yishun MRT station, Flaming Chicken Pot is definitely a place which is ideal for gathering with our loved ones! My personal favourite would be their black pot, as personally I am a fan of 宫保鸡丁 and the black pot itself is 香味可口, not forgetting that the chicken portion was generous and the meat was tender.
The white pot is suitable for individuals who enjoys peppery based soup, they have included pig stomach in the soup as well. You may add on side dishes to be included in the pot. Anyway, it is definitely shiok especially during raining days to enjoy a pot of flaming chicken pot!
Congrats to ANA Airlines for the opening of another Japan Gourmet Hall SORA outlet at Terminal 1, this time featuring three popular Japanese brands such as Ikkousha (well-known ramen brand from Fukuoka), Yoshimi which specializes in Katsu & Japanese Curry and Megumi Maru which specializes in quality maguro and sashimi in Kanagawa prefecture.
Personally, I am a huge fan of mentai dishes and the Maguro Mentai Roll ($15.90) is a dish which I had really enjoyed. Megumi Maru was generous with the mentai sauce and the maki roll is topped with fresh & quality tuna sashimi which melts in the mouth.
My all time favourite bear “Love-A-Lot Bear”. Coincidentally, the staff prepared love-a-lot bear when i requested for carebear for my honey matcha latte. Thank you @chockfullofbeans for the beautiful latte art💖.
There are up and down moments in life. Always remember that after the dark clouds, sun will shine again 💖☺️. Grumpy Bear says hello to all! Happy Midweek all!
This may not be the prettiest bowl of lu rou fan but it is definitely one of the most tasty lu rou which I have tasted in Singapore.
Tie Fun Wan (previously known as Rice & Fries), located along 89 Rangoon Road, offers a wide range of signature bowls such as Braised Pork- Lor Bak ($8), 72 hours Slow Cooked Beef ($14) and Mala Pork Collar($10). In addition, for those salmon lover, you may opt for the smoked salmon rice bowl ($12) which is similarly delicious as well.
For the yummy bowl, customer may choose between koshihikari super premium short grain rice or dry lamian.
My personal favourite bowl is definitely the lor bak bowl, the braised pork may look simple and dark but it is definitely succulent and flavourful. The braised pork belly goes really well with the rice and 63 degree egg. It has been almost three weeks since the food tasting and I have actually ordered the lor bak rice bowl again using @grabfoodsg app, thus definitely recommend lor bak lovers to visit the hidden gem.
Thank you @ariane.le for extending the invite & @tiefunwan for the warm hosting as well as the yummy food. Thank you @ashleyoms for helping me to capture the first shot.

It was my first time visiting @pocolocosg few weeks ago, as a fan of fish dishes, I have ordered the Pan seared seabass with seafood saffron dill sauce and green bean salad. The pan seared seabass did not fail to meet my expectation and personally I liked the crispy fish skin and the fish meat was not dry. The sauce was slightly creamy but it was light, and I did not have the jelat feeling after finishing it.
Pocoloco restaurant is definitely somewhere which one can explore for affordable italian food!
