ā€œUdon usually eat udon coldā€ šŸ‘ from today (7 June 19) onwards, Udon Kamon have launched the beautiful tricoloured chilled udon specially for the hot summer weather. The udon is specially prepared by executive Chef Kamogi Noriyuki, whereby each bowl comprises of three different types of Sanuki Udon noodles such as the original white udon, red chilli udon for individuals who enjoy spicy food (made with Korean chilli powder) and green matcha udon for those who are fan of matcha & it has a refreshing taste (made with uji matcha from Kyoto). The three new dishes include Mentai Maze Udon ($12.80++), Uni Maze Udon ($19.80++) & Beef Shabu Shabu Udon ($13.80++). To be honest, after tasting the three bowls, I cannot decide whether I prefer the Mentai Maze or the Beef Shabu Shabu bowl. However, if you prefer something more flavourful, personally I would recommend the beef shabu shabu bowl and it taste slightly similar to sukiyaki. On the other hand, for mentai lovers, I think you would love the Mentai Maze Udon!

Time to visit @udonkamonsg to enjoy triple happiness in a udon bowl and don’t forget to jio a friend to enjoy 50% off every second bowl (lower price bowl) from now till end of June 2019. Kindly note that one of which has to be a choice from the summer menu.

Thank you @brandcellar for the invite and @udonkamonsg for the warm hosting!

Searching for a chinese cuisine restaurant that features hongkong style roasted delights to celebrate the upcoming father’s day or just a simple gathering with your loved ones? Don’t say bojio, time to visit @heavenlyducksg , which is located at E!Avenue of Downtown East, conveniently just less than 10 mins walk from Pasir Ris MRT station!
Heavenly Duck’s Four Heavenly King Platter ($48++) is a dish that one must not miss when visiting the restaurant, the platter is filled with yummy roasted delights (char siew, siok bak, roasted duck & chicken). My personal favourite would be their roast pork and of course not forgetting their roast duck. The siok bak has a crispy skin and the inner layer was flavourful and tender, it has the best combination of lean meat & fats.

Apart from that @heavenlyducksg also serves many other yummy dishes such as their dimsum, e.g siew mai with tobiko.
Please do remember to flash your Plus Card & earn the link points when you dine at Heavenly Duck.

Thank you @singaporefoodlisting for the invitation and @heavenlyducksg & @mypluslife for the warm hosting!

ā€œIt’s Salmon Timeā€ from @refuelcafesg remains to be one of the only few cafes in Singapore that I would visit for the salmon fillet. Personally, I love how their salmon fillet is cooked to the perfect point which is neither too dry or overcooked. The salmon fillet goes well with the perfect poached egg with runny yolks (scroll to watch the video). The dish is also served with baby potatoes, chilli, mushroom, brocollini (all of my faves).
Definitely one of my comfy food for the weekend.

Recently visited Lam’s Kitchen to try its signature abalone’s noodles ($7.30), located along race course road.
Personally, I find that it is worth a try with a bowl filled with springy mee pok, three bite sized abalones, minced meat and fried fish ball. Not forgetting my favourite ramen style egg.

I have always been a fan of muah chee and thus it is a must order dish to order the Yuzu Muah Chee ($8++) dessert from @unclekiisu .The muah chee has a light yuzu taste, tbh I am still not used to muah chee having yuzu as most of the time we usually have it with peanuts, but personally I find that it is a interesting dish worthwhile trying. Supposingly the dessert goes with coconut ice cream, on that day itself ours came with the black sesame ice cream, which I find that its not too bad a combination to enjoy them together. The portion is relatively huge, it would be good to jio a few kakis to share this together. šŸ“Uncle Kiisu

Happy Mother’s Day! In love with the new dessert @elemensg which they have introduced recently, ā€œChilled Pumpkin Puree with Coconut Ice Creamā€. Personally, I find that the pumpkin puree goes really well with the purple rice base and the almond crumbs added a crunchy texture. The coconut ice cream at the same time, goes well with it. Gonna explore more of Elemen’s dessert in the future!

Any noodles lover here? Time to visit Ju Hao (聚豪) by @mofgroup for its Taiwanese sundried noodles. The sundried noodles are definitely a healthier option with no preservatives and salt and oil added to it when it was dried under low temperature. The noodles are made with 100% wheat flour powder and thus giving the noodles a springy texture. What’s more is that we can opt for the noodles of our choice while ordering.
One of my personal favourite would be the shallot noodles with hainanese style chicken and not forgetting the prawn pancake, which is good for sharing as a side dish. The chicken cutlet was succulent and crispy! Definitely a good place to hang out for the easties.

Introducing a few of my favourite dishes at Terminal M, a restaurant chain by Ministry of Food, which is also the first halal multi-concept food hall in Changi Airport. The multi-concept food hall serves MUIS halal-certified Korean, Chinese & Japanese food.

One of my favourite dishes is the Beef Bulgogi Hotpot ($33.80) from Hanssik. The hotpot is definitely ideal for sharing with a group of friends/ loved ones as it is filled with generous portion of my favourite mushrooms šŸ„ and beef. It would go well with some rice to enjoy the savoury & sweet taste of the soup. Apart from that, the Wanton with vinegar & chilli oil ($8.80) and the red bean pancake ($9.80) from Yu Long Quan is definitely best enjoyed while served warm.

Thank you @brandcellar for the invite & warm hosting and @terminalmbymof & @mofgroup for the yummy food!

Since Bendemeer Food Centre is closed for renovation for three months, it is time to explore the other alternatives around Bendemeer and Boon Keng area. Enjoying today’s lunch @yuan_bistro , their scrambled tomato egg with brown rice is simple yet yummy at the same time.
Definitely will visit the bistro in the future to try the other items from the menu.
