Cafe de Nicoleβs Flower certainly puts a world of thought into the presentation of their food and drinks, although I wish the flavours were stronger in this Strawberry Latte {$9.80+}. Comes across as more of a strawberry flavoured milk but plus points for the eye catching arrangement of sliced strawberries nevertheless.

Best kept secret of Clarke Quay has gotta be this. Each trio of sourdough toast is generously topped with smashed avocado, onsen egg, and your choice of smoked salmon or chicken. The Mala Smoked Salmon {$15} is slightly on the pungent side, and definitely for those seeking an extra numbing kick with their brunch.
Look out for their daily menu on Instagram!

{MEDIA} You would normally expect fried mushrooms to be some shrivelled up, oil laden piece of vegetable. But Shake Shack knocks it out of the park here. The βShroom Burger ($10.80) remains deliciously juicy even after breading and frying, and that gooey melted cheese that oozes out upon biting is well worth the calories.

{MEDIA} Canβt call it a trip to Shake Shack without trying one of their shakes. Exclusive to their Singapore outlet (and the first in Southeast Asia), the Pandan Shake ($7.80) is a sinfully sweet concoction topped with gula melaka crumbles that will have you shooting to a sugar high. Best to share it with a friend!

{MEDIA} Fun fact: While Shack Shack is world famous for their 100% Angus beef burgers, it was their Shake-cago Dog [$6.50] that first put them on the culinary map. Bite into juicy, plump hot dogs garnished with relish and all sorts of tomatoes, sport pepper, and other goodies. Great for grabbing a snack if youβre not too hungry but are craving a piece of Shake Shack.

Salmon Skin Chips ($11.90++) looks like one of your run of the mill fried fish skin snacks, but itβs not. Made from skin that is cut away from the coffee smoked salmon, this appetiser is garnished with goma aioli, avocado couli, and smoked salmon purΓ©e.

Ikura, Tobiko and Onsen Egg Claypot {$11} sounds like a mouthful; tastes like one too. The generous sprinkling of roe egg adds yummy drops of umami, while adding a Japanese spin on this heritage dish. Really generous for its price, although carnivorous diners might find it worthwhile to share a double portion which includes meat.

Cafe Otak with Butterfly Pea Pearl Rice {$11.90} The blue tinged rice certainly catches attention, but itβs the generously slices otak that is the real star of the dish. Hope the other ingredients will match up to the promising visual feast in time.

As one of the highest priced items on the menu {$17.90}, this dish pulls no punches in the spice department. While it was too spicy for my liking, it could be a good idea for Estation Cafe to introduce different levels of spice to suit individual tastes.

Magic Mushroom Jaffles with a side of sweet potato mash {$14} Truffled sautΓ©ed mushrooms and deep fried Cajun oysters held together by mozzarella cheese, really filling even for ardent carnivores like yours truly.
