One of my favourite brunch places in town; tiny but powerful cafe! The menu isnβt extensive but all of the dishes weβve tried in different visits never disappoint! This weekly special, Arab inspired Lamb Kofte, doesnβt look appealing but it managed to capture our hearts. Just hummus, couscous, Lebanese slaw and lamb kofte. Another crowd favourite got to be their signature Chicken Caesar Ciabatta π₯ͺ which remains unchanged in their menu for 6 years. Simple but memorable.
This humble restaurant needs no introduction because of the amazing food and the crazy waiting time! Youβll need to η η ηοΌεηηοΌso donβt go when youβre really hungry. Iβm not kidding on the queue and waiting time ya.
This place serves different menu on different days - Mon/Thurs: Ipoh Hor Fun & Lam Mee, Tues/Fri/Sat: Fish Head Noodles, Wed: Pork Noodles. Planning my next visit for the Ipoh Hor Fun π
ChimiChurri Burger is one of the signature here in Marmalade π your choice of homemade grilled chicken or beef patty, crispy onions, melted cheddar, sweet potato chips and not forgetting my favourite chimichurri sauce! Good food but the price is on a slightly higher side. Will definitely be back!

Fluffy Dutch Baby Pancake served with smoked salmon, avocado & sunny side up π³

A rather unique Tom yam Udon with Malaysian twist π a bowl of flavourful shrimp Tom yam broth packed with root vegetables kakiage, sea prawns, tofu puff, egg, bean sprouts, renkon chips, nori sheet, enoki and cherry tomatoes! All is good except that the broth is tad too salty for my liking.

This awesome hearty bowl is packed with nutritious multi grain rice, salad & turmeric chicken π healthy food can be tasty too! π
This is the new addition to my Japanese fare list in PJ, one place that keep me going back for its Engawa π£! First tried of Engawa was at Oribe and that was really awesome; and today I found a place serving Engawa too! This lightly seared flounder fin has a chewy oil-rich taste and it literally melts in your mouth π do not compare this with the one from Oribe as Oribe uses fresh flounder which gives a more crunchy and crispy texture. The menu here is quite extensive and I think I need a second and third visit soon.
Heard a lot of positive feedback about this place and we finally dropped by with the fam bam on a public holiday!
One basic set of banana leaf rice costs RM8.50 and it comes with free flow of rice, 4 or 5 types of vegetables, 3 types of curries and rassam. Eat all you can!
Vegetables such as beetroot, bitter gourd & sambal tofu etc were good but I think the curries can be better. We ordered a number of side dishes for sharing such as fried chicken, fried squid with onion, mutton masala & sambal prawn and all of them were excellent.
Most of the time we head to Jaipur, which is another underrated place stones away from Aunty Manju, for BLR but now we have more options! The prices might be on the high side but why not if you can get a superb hearty meal here!
They finally made their way here into The Sphere, Bangsar South, after many successful years in Yong Siak Street, Singapore since 2010. This pork free cafe originated from SG is the sister brand of Common Man Coffee Roasters in TTDI.
Shrimp paste batter fried chicken served with sambal maple syrup & a sunny side up π³ the whole dish is too dry for my liking though.

My first tried on the Matcha Mousse Cake & Cotton Cheese Cake π§ Matcha Mousse is good and the Cotton Cheese Cake is light & fluffy. I, personally, prefer rich & creamy cheese cake with lesser lemon juice/zest but this is good for a cotton cheese cake. This tiny cafe has limited space so you may consider drop by earlier or opt for to-go aka dabao!
