it's not as crispy as how i like my waffle to be but it has this strong egg flavour which could be overkill for some people but i do enjoy it! and i also love that they give such a huge scoop ice cream ✨
i ordered Gukmul Dduk Bok Gi (tteokbokki) and surprised that there are a lot of carbo inside; 3 different kinds of tteok, sweet potato glass noodle, ramyun, deep fried kimbap, luncheon meat, egg and mandu. The soup isn't kimchi based, it's more like "sauce" for tteokbokki so do expect it to be sweet and starchy. The chicken is the star of the dish, it shouldn't be the "sides" but instead, the main thing of the set.
ordered this chendol bingsu ($6.9) + injeolmi bingsu ($9.9) using burpple beyond. clearly, the chendol outshined injeolmi; the gula melaka is very fragrant & the chendol has chewy texture and the ice is really smooth! really recommended this menu to tru
the service was super slow! the waiting time between every dish is around 20-30 minutes. not to mention they gave us this medium rare while we ask for well done!! didn't bother to ask them for a change cause God knows when they could give us the replacement 🙄
I had their famous mentaiko pasta ($18), chips with truffled mayo ($7) , a very sinful choco banana nutty smoothie ($12) and choco earl grey cake. they're all amazing and i really had a good time there, gobbling all these food up but sadly, that's my first and also my last. hopefully they'll still retain their mentaiko pasta in the future, cause that's really hard to beat!
Finally got to try this famous croissant! it's indeed heavenly, you can really taste the egg yolk on it, unlike others which has nothing but sweet custard taste. im all prepared to scrape all the custard out cause many people said that it isnt flowy but instead, it flows out nicely! i think they take it seriously and improve the recipe. great job! anyway, i gotta give thumbs down for their service tho! i'm q-ing for 40mins while they actually have empty tables (not only one but THREE) but for some unidentified reason, they just won't let people sit in. maybe i'll just go for other branch next time!
We ordered Special beef combination noodle soup ($8.9) along with Pork chop rice ($7.9) and fried pork spring rolls ($3). love how the pho tasted! the pork chop was a tad bit too sweet for my liking but we still finished it up anyway! and hands down to the spring roll cause it's fully loaded with pork ❤️ i will definitely come back!
we came down to try their crab mantau only to find they have changed their menu a few weeks back. so we settled for their fried chicken waffles, kimchi pork chop and sweet potato fries. the waffles tasted horrible, in fact it has NO TASTE at all, the fried chicken is juicy but has not enough flavoring! we can't hope much since their signature menu already failed miserably. the pork was tough as rubber, the sauce was so so. the only thing that saved our brunch is the sweet potato fries, but it's not even a mains! clearly disappointed for wasting my time (and tummy space) and effort to go down here 🙄
While it might not look attractive due to the colour of the dish but one mouth and you'll be "caught". Even before the dish is served, we can caught a whiff of the strong truffle and it doesn't disappoint as each mouthful was just so. Consisting of three types of shrooms: Shiitake, White button mushroom and fried enoki, its also vegan friendly.
stumble upon this place when i was scrolling through my insta feed and me being so addictive to wagyu, decided to give it a try. So i went there on a Thursday evening for dinner. I've placed my order and when the meat comes, my heart sank cause the color and the marbling doesn't scream wagyu 😒 the moment of truth when i grill em lightly and taste it.. Gosh!! nothing like wagyu at all ok!!! the only thing that's melts in yout mouth is the sashimi. other than that were just sucks! plus the normal beef actually tasted better!!! such a waste of money and time for this rubbery beef!!!
We ordered from the Indian stall coz one of our friend recommended it. True enough, their mee goreng was delish! and the portion is so damn huge 😱 we had the the fried rice too but it's just okay.
It's my 3rd visit here and i still fall for its tarts! this time round i ordered creme brulee and white peach. both tasted good but i still prefer their pistachio. it's uh ma zing 😍
