Nibble on the addictive bites like Pettole ($14), a traditional Apulian snack of deep fried dough balls or Monkfish Cheeks Milanese ($24) over cocktails.

Hungry? Get their moreish Norcia Sausage and Peppers ($30), hand-cut strands of spaghetti alla chitarra enveloped in a textural red capsicum sauce, studded with chunks of the finest Norcia pork sausage and topped with parma ham crisps.

Firm favourite of mine for those light-as-air artisan pizza 🍕 EVP has elevated their menu like the luxe version of Hawaiian pizza, Aloha’m ($30). Made with smoked tomato, fresh pineapple that is slow-cooked overnight in parma ham fat, slices of high quality prosciutto cotto, fior di latte and finished in organic EVOO.

Went to Mazzo to savour their Italian grigliata (grill) since we can’t travel to 🇮🇹

Adding a touch of modern innovation to traditional Italian heritage, they use lava rocks instead of charcoal to bring out the natural flavours in chargrilled food like this Octopus Leg ($34) with creamy gratin potatoes.

Do get the Chef’s Recommendation Antipasti ($39, sharing for 2) to start. A satisfying platter made of cold cuts, bruschetta, risotto balls, mozzarella, calamari and chicken wings with a glass of Prosecco.

LINO’s new outlet at Forum, boost a more extensive menu with exclusive cocktail selections.

An interesting dish will be Pollo Al Mattone ($36) which means ‘roast chicken under a brick. Though it isn’t served under a brick, the succulent chicken is prepared using the traditional Italian method of pan-roasting, giving it a crispy chicken skin.

Quintessential orders will be their signature 12-inch sourdough crust pizza such as Burrata ($26) and Pancetta Pizza ($28). The latter combines Swiss Smoked farmer bacon, tender duck-fat seared potatoes and fresh basil pesto. Topped with fior di latte (traditional cow’s milk mozzarella) Parmesan Reggiano cheese, break the runny egg in the middle and spread it evenly.

This December, Publico is bringing a feast of Italian Christmas favourites.

Savour the decadent Granchio Fritto ($22), a deep-fried softshell crab with Tomato Aioli and tangy Salsa Verde, complemented with a bed of Radicchio Caesar salad. For traditionalists, there’s the delicious wood-fired Pizza Boscaiola ($30) made of thinly sliced house-made Porchetta topped with porcini mushroom mozzarella, grated parmesan and red wine glaze.

Sip the jolly cocktail concoctions and raise a toast with the specially curated Publico Mulled Wine.

@nyverdensg first-of-its-kind to offer a customisable woodfired grilling experience!

Select your prime cut meat to be semi-cooked over 5 types of firewood – Jarrah, Hickory, Oak, Cherry, Applewood – which adds another dimension to the plate.

House signature Crab Tagliolini ($30) is a dish worth trying, though the pasta was molto al dente that day. Cooked in lobster broth for immense sweetness, generous crab meat chunks, it is topped with olive oil, rose petals and smoked ikura.

Serving comforting everyday Italian dishes from morning-to-night such as fresh egg pasta, freshly stone-baked Roman thin crust pizzas & house-churned Italian gelato.

Scrambled Eggs on Toast ($11) is a fine way to start the day. Or savour the outlet exclusive dish, Seafood Spaghetti Cartocci ($29) topped with slipper lobster, scallops, squid and mussels which is seriously good too.

Order the Traditional Stuffed Roman Schiacciata ($10) to start off our brunch. A crispy Italian flatbread sandwiched with melty pecorino cheese and fragrant black truffle comes in 4 pieces so recommend sharing.

Happy Food, Happy People~ Amazing house-made pasta from @handbello.sg, a new casual dining concept by the folks from @dear.nesuto

Expect quality yet affordable pasta options that are bound to please. And despite my reservation that pasta does not travel well, theirs do!

I like their La Noona’s ($22), made of Casarecce, spiced Kurobuta Pork Sausage accompanied with Broccolini. Else the zesty Nuts For Pesto ($22) with lots of greens (zucchini, kale, basil, tarragon, mint) and walnuts make another excellent choice.

You can't go wrong with their Signature Planks (from $32.95 serves two) such as Ultimate Plank or Vegetables Plank. There's also outlet exclusive dishes to tempt your taste buds like the new Chicken Casarecce, Pici Verde (spinach pasta, roasted plum tomatoes), Fish In A Bag or The Porkie pizza.

What better way to celebrate it by heading to Basilico for a three-course dinner, made-to-order mains with free-flow of Prosecco. Not to mention getting specially crafted treats from Head Chef Luca Beccalli. Do order their oven-baked focaccia with black summer truffle and robiola cheese when you are there! The cheesy pizza with strong truffle is just to die for.
