Came here for the lunch set! The unique flavours from fermentation/smoking were quite a fun culinary experience.

🍅 Heirloom Tomatoes
This dish unexpectedly stole the show for me, the smoked stracciatelle was addictive and the fresh mint and basil cut through the creaminess. Fresh tomatoes were so sweet, fermented tomatoes were juicy and a burst of flavour- the contrast created a wonderful combination.

🐙 Grilled Octopus
Grilled to perfection, not too tough or tender. Smoked pepper squid garum puree had an interesting flavour profile, I thought it resembled curry powder.

🍯 Honey & Yoghurt
Greek yoghurt ice cream was creamy, the flowers on top were surprisingly flavourful. Lacto fermented strawberry honey was yummy!

Dined on a friday evening, be sure to go early as the queue was long even at 8pm! Service was great:) Must orders for me were the side dishes surprisingly.

Favourites:
Prawn paste chicken (har cheong gai)
🍗 very crispy and juicy
🍗 fermented taste was more prominent than other places i have tried, quite a signature

Sharing platter (ngoh hiang)
🍥 ingredients were very fresh
🍥 my favourites were the fishcake and tofu that was juicy and soft on the inside

Prawn Noodles
🦐 the dry noodles were yummy! flavourful and aromatic sauce with pork lard added on top
🦐 broth is rich and umami but i wouldn't say traditional

Won my heart as a soup lover:) Loved the cordyceps white chicken soup most as the meat was tender and broth was slightly collagenous. Jade tofu was also a must-order for me as the tofu was soft and juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside, paired with flavourful chilli on the side.

Dined there on a Monday evening, the restaurant had a quiet and pleasant ambience:) Staff was really friendly and attentive, shared recommendations on what to order and refilled our water whenever we finished; thank you to Peter and Jasmine.
Food was great too! The brussels sprouts came with a sweet sauce and was paired with fragrant puffed rice. Overall an aromatic dish. Duck confit was tender and had crispy skin, portion was generous, sweet potato mash was thick and creamy with edamame and chickpea on the side. Baked alaksa was a delightful meringue with berries and hidden ice-cream. Would visit again to try the other things on the menu!

First time at Meadesmoore and definitely not the last:) Had Burrata, Meadesmoore cut and tiramisu. The burrata was a great light start; the freshness in the cream sauce cuts though the creamy burrata and zucchini pairing. The red wine sauce and salsa went well with the tender beef and their tiramisu was light and balanced- coffee and brandy went together seamlessly. The atmosphere was cosy and warm too; festive with a beautiful Christmas tree at the side. Would recommend for date nights, gatherings, family dinners, etc.
