What's truly enticing about a good French toast is a balance of salty and sweet, and the one at Ronin totally nails it with their Brioche French Toast ($14.50) with braised apple, crispy bacon, hazelnut butter and syrup. This rendition is close to flawless in every way, but its the innocent pat of hazelnut butter that adds a depth as it melts into liquid gold and becomes one with the syrup. The back bacon is just salty enough to offset the sweetness, and is a nice crispy contrast to the soft braised apples. You wouldn't want to share this. As always, be sure to have a coffee here โ a long black is perfect with this sweet treat!
Great ambience over lovely brunch!! Would rate it 8.5/10!!
Super disappointing after so many good reviews :-( the chocolate was just too cheap tasting and overwhelming, and the ice cream was vanilla but lacked the real tasting vanilla bean punch to it.
The bibimbap was amazing, burn rice with a slight taste of sweetness and bitterness. The rice cake was chewy, soft and sweet. Overall, the price was reasonable, food was amazing. Definitely recommended to go there and try!
Le Steak by Chef Amri is a family-friendly steakhouse that is well-loved for the superb sirloin steak, as well as grilled chicken and seared salmon โ all priced reasonably below $20. Even the desserts like bread pudding or crรจme brรปlรฉe are a hit at just under $10. If you're in the Jalan Kayu area, this is the perfect place for dinner with your loved ones. If thatโs too far, the newest outlet along Mackenzie Road might be a better option.
A pulled-pork burger done right by the folks at Burnt Ends. None of that dry stuff overly drenched in BBQ sauce - the pork here is fork tender with just the right amount of sauce. Creamy and packed-full of flavour. Such a steal at $20 a piece. Definitely a must-have when you come here.
Meat and cheese lovers rejoice. This is the holy matrimony of steak and cheese stuffed between a bun.
As said in the menu description, the steak well marinated, juicy and is many many. The cheese is a cheesy mess and a lot a lot. It might be a little too much cheese for one, so bring a friend to share and try more stuff.
Well worth the crowd and heat to get your hands on this.
Monster loves sticky chewy cheesy steak sandwiches!

Went there a couple of times before, decided to try out their kimchi soup ($7) this time. The portion was so generous, I probably ate my lifetime's worth of kimchi then (other ingredients were: beancurd, korean tang hoon๐, pork). I guess because of the amount of kimchi that was in the soup, the soup was very sour. Will update in the near future other dishes that im gonna try there! I would recommend their bibimbap & stir fry pork/chicken $8/7.50 (their serving of meat is generous as well can order for 2 to share)
Laksa/ Tom Yam based pasta seemed to be in trend now, with one popping up one after another.
This interpretation by #tolidosespressonook seem to have hit the spot for me, the avid laksa lover.
I could explicitly taste the "gao" laksa zup from every strand of pasta. While at $16.90 NETT, they are very generous with five crunchy prawns. (Especially awesome with #theentertainerapp #entertainer241 1-for-1 mains) Whoop!

Woke up at the wrong side of bed so ended up with a stiff neck. One word - SHAG! Anyway, The Debbie ($10) was served with Peanut and Caramel ice cream, Black Cookies, Brownie, Peanut Brittle and Caramel Sautรฉed Banana.
Indeed a messy affair, and the peanut ice cream seems like an unusual combination with caramel, a breakthrough from mainstream salted caramel pairing.
