Well thought out menu items that we thought it was interesting. Smoked duck topped with sunny side up, cheddar, mesclun and tomatoes with hoisin. Very strong and sweet taste from the hoisin sauce that complements the smoked duck. Very interesting and unique, not your usual burger...π
Slightly expensive but there was a nice flowy egg inside and the beef patty was juicy and thick. Fries were crispy.
[$12] A place for some comfort food that isn't terribly overpriced. This was really delicious, with the pancakes being the right density though I didn't really taste much of the grilled cheese. Candied bacon tasted a lot like bak kwa especially with the maple syrup but not complaining! If you don't have a sweet tooth, I suggest you cut back on the syrup if not it'll get overly sweet in a few mouthfuls. The fried egg sandwiched in between was a nice addition though I would prefer if the yolk was slightly runny. Do check out their brunch menu which allows you to customise your own meal!
So far every burger from Wolf Burger that we had had been pretty tasty, without a doubt K-Pork Superstar ($9.90) as well! Bringing forth a Korean fusion with gochujang and kimchi cucumbers, along with 24 hours marinated and braised pork belly!! I love their sauce so much that I didn't leave a single drop behind. π

Alt. Pizza is perfect for when you and your colleagues are too lazy to think of a place that would please everyone. Who doesn't like a good thin-crust pizza? The fussy eaters in the group can DIY their own 11β pie, while everyone else should just dig into the Signatures. The foolproof Hangover ($17) with pepperoni, fennel sausage and roasted onions is a sure-win for meat lovers, while the Truffle Shuffle ($17) is perfect for you truffle lovers. There's even a fantastic option for the vegetarians in The Lean & Green ($15) β surprisingly moreish with its roasted garlic pesto base topped with feta and roasted squash. Order some lip-smacking Alt. Wings ($13; get the blue cheese sauce!) to share, and a couple of craft beers to kick back. Now that you're in a larger group, you can share those Pizza Doughnuts (YUP!) with Nutella dipping sauce with much less guilt ;) Best part is? This meal will hit the spot without burning pie-sized holes in your pockets.
Okay, so this is a place that's not an option if you're with friends who are on a budget. While the price point is definitely not friendly, the uber tasty burgers, sides, killer cocktails, spiked milkshakes, and lovely ambience here will more than make up for it. Do everyone a favour, and order a side (or two) of Naughty Fries ($9), hand-cut chips nestled beneath a spicy bearnaise sauce, beef chilli and parmesan. For burgers, The Baby Huey ($20) is a crowd-pleaser with a 150g beef patty slathered in 'TOM' sauce and miso mayo. Also good is the Honky Tonk ($19), a crisp, juicy buttermilk fried chicken burger with coleslaw, lettuce, pickles and their Big Poppa βhot sauceβ. Special mention goes to their cozy, intimate rooftop bar, THE place you'll want to kick back with friends over cocktails on a Friday evening. Note that they don't take reservations for The Rooftop, so head down early if you're in a big group.
Meat and cheese lovers rejoice. This is the holy matrimony of steak and cheese stuffed between a bun.
As said in the menu description, the steak well marinated, juicy and is many many. The cheese is a cheesy mess and a lot a lot. It might be a little too much cheese for one, so bring a friend to share and try more stuff.
Well worth the crowd and heat to get your hands on this.

We had the PB&J ($8) and the Cheesesteak sandwich ($16). They use 3 slices of bread for the PB&J, two slices of chocolate bread and one white slice of white bread in the middle. It was also cornflake-crusted which gave the sandwich a nice crunch. I liked it, but the peanut butter they use sure dries out your mouth. Would have liked more jelly too. As for the cheesesteak, just look at that meat-to-bread ratio! Very satisfying. Already thinking of going back to try their other sarnies!
