Wouldn’t recommend ordering this. Slathered in hot sauce to cover up the fact that it tasted like the kind you’d get from the frozen aisle section.
Nicely pressed, which resulted in a crispy outside and gooey inside from the melted Monterey cheese. Turkey meat was nice too. Salsa had a nice balance between tangy and slightly spicy. Rice was cold though, could be warmer and more flavourful. Would recommend getting the quesadillas here if you’ve got Mex cravings around Clementi and you’re on a budget. But that’s about it, not much to shout about.
So. Freaking. Good. I cannot even begin to describe how delicious this was. Think zesty tomato sauce, basil leaves and a generous ball of SUPER CREAMY burrata cheese sitting in the middle of this perfectly wood-fired dough. The crust is doughy on the inside and chewy on the outside. Finished with a drizzle of olive oil. Magnificent.
Deeeelicious. This crust was perfect — crisp on the outside, and slightly doughy on the inside, with the right thickness that will fill you up without being overly jelak. Flavours worked well here as well — juicy mushrooms, creamy, cheesy sauce base paired with a distinct fragrant truffle note. Will order again!
New outlet at Holland Village yay! Exclusive to this outlet only, the Rocketman consists of tomatoes, mozzarella, salami, red peppers, onions and rocket — lots of it. You will like this if you’re a fan of peppery, bittersweet rocket leaves. Crust was a little soggy though, as I suspect that it’s moisture from the wilted red peppers. Taste-wise, it was not very memorable as there was too much going on, from the peppery rocket to the sweet red peppers to the sweet caramelised onions. My advice is to skip this and get the Truffle Shuffle instead.
As smoky, tender and delicious as smoked duck could get. One mouth of this and I was floored, and I’m not even a duck person to begin with. Flavour profile tastes a little more like beef, just smokier and softer. Deeeeliiicious.
Interesting spin on this local favourite. Appreciated the fresh and thick cut sashimi cubes. However, this wasn’t very memorable — perhaps more sashimi in one shell instead?
Creamy guac, melted cheddar, tangy salsa verde, stringy mozzarella on top of paprika dusted fries come together to sing this sinful lullaby. A great treat-yourself after a long day at work. Remember to consume whilst hot! Don’t let it sit out for long, as it tends to get soggy.
Look. At. That. Cheese. Pull. If that isn’t testament to its deliciousness in itself, I don’t know what is. Featuring flavourful and tender (albeit slightly dry) rendang and ridiculously cheesy mozzarella housed between two perfectly pressed and grilled brioche buns. Will come back again for this.
Crispy, fragrant and so damn delicious. And those refreshing/complementary dipping sauces, which tie everything together. Oh and who could forget, unfolding this beauty to reveal the star of the show — spiced and cubed potatoes so tasty it’s almost criminal? If my heart were a shape, it would be triangular, like this dosa.
Fluffy, slightly sweet bun coupled with thick and fresh muar otah. Helps with revving engines on weekday mornings. Coffee here is good too.
Albeit the slightly steep price, every component of this dish was executed to the tee. Use of pearl cous cous was very interesting, not at all like the regular mushy cous cous you’d usually get. Every mouthful was flavourful and retained a nice bite. And that salmon! Magnificent is the only word to describe it — pink on the inside, whilst maintaining a crisp pan sear on the outside. Nice use of the zingy pickled cucumber to tie this together.
