One of my go to places for cheap and good korean food! 😋😋 Though this place may not serve up the best dishes, but they consistently serve up piping hot down-to-earth no-frills korean food! The spicy beef soup came with generous slices of beef and vermicelli noodles while the kimchi pork came with pork belly slices, tofu and kimchi! 🤤🤤 The winner for me is definitely the number of side dishes at this price points, and especially love the korean black beans! 😍😍 With fast service and free flow of barley tea/water, this is the perfect place for family gatherings or large group gatherings. Only downside is the ulu location, but it’s still situated pretty near town so definitely worth a try!

Both drinks were such a pleasant surprise! 😋😋 Loved that the hazelnut latte wasn’t too sweet and was really milky and had a nice wholesome flavour, though wished that the hazelnut flavour shone through a little more! The chocolate mint ice blended looked like it would taste really artificial but it was actually really good! Loved that they used dark chocolate and it went really well with that tinge of mint and was so refreshing! Lovely well lit setting on one of the bridges in Plaza Singapura, with plenty of seating and power plugs available 👍🏻👍🏻

This was pretty average with a nice sweet glaze though earl grey flavour was very lacking, and the hazelnuts added a nice crunch. Croissant itself was nothing too great, and can’t really compare to other bakeries in terms of butteriness or fluffiness, and just overall not that great 😥😥 Would skip their pastries here and just go for the brunch items tbh 😕😕

This looked and sounded really promising (and especially cause there was only one left), but was rather disappointingly dry and nothing too impressive 😥😥 Would give this a miss 🙁🙁

Nice cup of matcha green tea latte! 🍵🍵 Not too sweet with a nice tinge of matcha bitterness, but wished that it came in a bigger cup! Limited indoor seating but plenty of outdoor seating with WiFi and water provided! Also, there’s a $20 voucher for $13 on chope as well 👍🏻👍🏻

Fork-pull-apart level of soft tender meat that was flavoured so beautifully with red wine jus. Loved the complementary sides that helped to tie the whole dish together - beetroot chunks, pickled potato and fried shallot! 😋😋 Really love the flavour of the meat though I’ve had more tender meat elsewhere, but this was definitely a nicely done beef short rib! Fyr never disappoints and they continue to impress me with every dish even on my third visit 😭😭 This was a really well done lamb rack, not in terms of meat doneness (evidently from that raw pink middle) but in terms of how they made the gameyness of a meat like lamb into a plus point instead of a repulsive factor?? Yummy healthy option for a post-dinner treat! 😋😋 Though I understand why some might say the açaí is a little icy, it doesn’t compromise on the taste nor the satisfaction you’re going get from this! Portion seems a little small but is actually overflowing with goodness like banana, strawberry, blueberry, passionfruit, walnut, granola, almond flakes, pumpkin seed, flaxseed and honey! Free sauces include almond butter and honey, while you can top up $1 for Nutella, peanut/cashew/almond butter. Seating is really crammed, with about 4 tables of 2 pax each. Not my favourite açaí place, but definitely a good deal with Burpple 1-for-1 and situated conveniently at Plaza Singapura. 😊😊

One of the most explosive eggs benny I’ve had, with the yolk rupturing beautifully as soon as I gently prodded it! Portion looked pretty small at first, but they were actually really generous with the pulled pork and eggs! 😘😘 Love the fantastic service here (flexible regarding eatigo timings, water provided, fast friendly service) and plenty of seating in a super chill laidback environment! There are even some plugs around if you’re looking for a place to study at off-peak periods. Definitely one of the cafes I frequent for their amazing value and simply well done dishes!

This was surprisingly quite satisfying for the competitive price?? Though the rice was pretty substandard, but loved that the salmon was really nicely done and torched pretty well! PSA they slash prices by 30% ($6.93) after a certain time (2215 on a sat night)! Their sushis are definitely one of their more value items and definitely a good place for a quick japanese fix 😋😋
