Loved these beautiful mini tartlets from Carpenter and Cook! Perfect for tea-time and personal favourites were the Yuzu Basil, Passionfruit Meringue and Chocolate Sea Salt (though the Mixed Fruit and Lemon Cream didn’t trail too far behind) 🤤🤤 Snagged them at 25% off via self-pickup on Grab (prices not Grab-inflated) 👍🏻👍🏻

Pistachio (premium) was definitely my favourite of the lot, with Ispahan (lychee, raspberry, rose) and Chocolate Sorbet tied at close seconds and Buttermilk Rhubarb being not too bad as well! 😍😍 Love the texture and flavours at this new ice cream parlour with innovative flavours that work really nicely! Loved that the gelato isn’t too sweet, which really brings out the richness of each flavour, and the creamy milky texture is definitely on point! Will be back to try the sold-out flavours, as well as their much raved comes! 👍🏻👍🏻

This was not too bad with a pretty nice citrusy tartness to cut all the sweetness from the other cakes! Like the compact biscuit layer that was not too thick and not too thin, and topped with even more cookie crumbs! PSA their cakes go for 50% off after 2130!!

A home-baked spiced carrot cake, topped in classic cream cheese frosting and sugar-coated walnuts! Liked that the sponge layer was dense and chocked full of surprise ingredients (like walnuts, dates etc), but it was a little dry and the cream cheese to cake ratio was definitely very very off 🙁🙁 Not one of their better cakes, definitely try their chocolate blackout cake or their golden banana butterscotch cake instead 🥰🥰 PSA their cakes go for 50% off after 2130!!

Ripe banana and chocolate chip cake, drizzled with a generous dose of our homemade butterscotch sauce 🤤🤤 Absolutely loved this one! Great alternative to the usual sticky date pudding with a slice of soft fluffy fragrant banana cake and that butterscotch sauce was to die for (and also what was reminiscent of the sticky date pudding), paired with a scoop of delightful vanilla ice cream, this will definitely be my go-to dessert (second only to their chocolate blackout cake)! 😍😍 PSA their cakes go for 50% off after 2130!!

Decadent rich luscious dark chocolate - what more can one ask for in a cake! 😌😌 Just as good as I remembered it to be, though the one at Dempsey might be a little less dry, but still very very satisfying with every bite! Perfect with the dark chocolate sauce and a scoop of vanilla ice cream 👍🏻👍🏻 PSA selected cakes and tarts go for 50% after 10pm so definitely drop by for some after dinner desserts 😋😋

This was surprisingly quite satisfying for the competitive price?? Though the rice was pretty substandard, but loved that the salmon was really nicely done and torched pretty well! PSA they slash prices by 30% ($6.93) after a certain time (2215 on a sat night)! Their sushis are definitely one of their more value items and definitely a good place for a quick japanese fix 😋😋

Always have and always will come here to satisfy any cheesecake cravings 💕💕 Jiggly Fluff (Triple Cheese) was nice and light but still pretty cheesy while Charred Eclipse (Burnt Cheesecake) had a very subtle burnt aftertaste. While these two cheesecakes are pretty decent, definitely try their original Over the Moon, which I still stand by that it’s their best creation 👍🏻👍🏻 This outlet has no seating so you have to takeaway elsewhere, and remember to let the cake defrost first if not you’ll just be eating iced cheese. Also, there’s 1-for-1 on ShopBack now, so worth a try if you haven’t before!

Really just blueberry cream cheese atop some butter biscuit layer, but still somehow hits the cheesecake spot all the same! 🤤🤤 PSA: they have like random discounts on whole cakes and there’s 1-for-1 sliced cheesecakes on Shopback now till end of the year!

Pretty good meat buffet but salad bar was pretty lacking. Really enjoyed the grilled pork belly, grilled pineapples and beef hump (in descending order). Other meats like lamb, beef rump and fish were a little dry, while chicken thigh was done well (it’s a cheap meat so can’t fill up on these HAHA). Salad buffet was pretty limited with the usual basic vegetables (salad base, sauces, broccoli, cauliflower, carrot) with very mediocre carbs (tasteless aglio olio, tasteless rice, 2 potato salads; go for the fresh hot grilled garlic bread instead!) and some protein (meh prawns, dry chicken, meh sausage skewers). Recommend to just go there and whack the meat buffet, cleansing your palate in between with the hot sweet goodness of the pineapple (and other fruits like watermelon and honeydew), and end off with ice cream! (Thai milk tea is pretty decent!) PSA: Only worth if you use eatigo for 50% off between 1745-1845 and 2115-2215 daily (they close at 2300)!!

Quite enjoyed their rendition of the classical strawberry shortcake, especially the cream layer was so light flavourful and not cloying! But for $80 a cake, thank goodness this was free 😂😌

This was actually very enjoyable! Somehow managed to find sth sinful in a healthy place 😂😂 Croissant was mediocre - dry, unflaky, not adequately buttery and pretty stale. But the udders ice cream saved the day! Rich chocolatey goodness that went well with the croissant 👍🏻👍🏻
