Premium Dory with Salted Egg & Chilli Crab Sauce They used the dory fish and each topped with either salted egg sauce or chilli crab sauce. I find the sauce wasn’t too overwhelming, but the chilli crab sauce did taste mild spicy. Accompanied by fries and coleslaw.

underrated must try for truffle lovers hawker stall with one of my favourite truffle pastas ($12.90 i think?). used to grab order this every time i had carby cravings and i decided to try it irl. sauce is scrumdumyumdelicious, truffle is strong and the spaghet has a good bite to it. it’s just really good. they have a few outlets so if you’re passing by try it. trust! con (👎🏾) wait time that day was 30 mins, not sure why but they told us in advance! weren’t on a time crunch so we just walked around the neighbourhood and it was a non issue

Schnitzel with Curry Rice Classic Fish & Chips + Schnitzel with Curry Rice here. Schnitzel with Curry Rice This plant-based schnitzel is fried till excellent. Thin Crispy on the outside, tender & juicy on the inside, it has everything you expect from a schnitzel. The curry here is seriously good as well. The aroma & taste when add to the rice & schnitzel brings it to another level. The egg is super runny adding creaminess to the rice as the yolk flows down the rice.

Laksam kelantan 28.9++ This is good. It does tastes like laksa, in terms of the spices. But it's thicker cos of the minced mackerel i think. Also, it's rice rolls instead of rice noodles The sambal has this particular jammy sweetness that's abit weird but it works when you mix it in However, the price is ridiculous lol

Not Bad This 1-for-1 is meant to promote their Gold Flakes. I don't think it is stated here, but at the stall itself, the staff will tell you that the Gold Flakes or Silver Flakes is a must. My friends and I added Green Tea Mochi & the sweet potato which cost 50 cents per topping. We expected more mochi and sweet potato, but all we got was 2 pieces of mochi and 2 pieces of sweet potato. (Not sure what y'all will think about it, but i find 2 pieces is too little...) BUT.... We find the ice cream not bad as it wasn't so sweet for the Green Tea flavour and the Salted Caramel flavour. Since it's a 1-for-1, i can't expect too much... Overall, it was okay... We were just shocked at the final bill - $11.50 for the 2 cups of ice cream & 2 pieces of Mochi and 2 pieces of Sweet Potato...

Hojicha Latte (L Size - $6.90) I felt that it's best hojicha latte that I have tried. It's smooth texture, strong roasted tea and milky taste. I wanted to try their matcha version soon next time.

Halal Jap Food Didn’t have the opportunity to take proper pictures, the food looked too good to resist! First off, it literally took them 10 minutes for the food to constantly arrive, which i commend them for! Second, the food is so goooooood, even though my pics dont do this place justice. Really good for a halal restaurant We ordered: Garlic fried rice ($10) Unagi ($18) Mentai Chicken Cutlet ($16) The Garlic fried rice is delishhhhhh, i recommend you guys to share the portions (order mains to share and maybe share the rice as well, ordered 2 garlic rice bowls for 3 of us), even though it is small but it is adequent.

Unagi Fried Rice ($14) First time eating at a muslim-owned Japanese restaurant and their offerings were many and tasty. The bowl came with small pieces of unagi served on a bed of fried rice. Fried with egg, the rice was flavourful though abit dry and salty. The unagi was of reasonably good quality, slightly charred and crisp, with a sticky sweet taste from the sauce. A satisfying donburi dish overall!

For Hearty Japanese Rice Bowls and Steak in Bugis While this spot is popular after work, their foolproof rice bowls are a great excuse to come at lunch. Beef bacon double 14.5nett The beef bacon was pretty good, it's slightly crispy and quite meaty The patties were nicely firm and despite the small size, had enough bite(partly from small bits of gristle which I appreciate) It's a little bit heavy, and there's a lot of sauces, but it's less than you would expect from something with absolutely no veggies, esp if you let the oil drain Overall pretty decent

Double pulled beef burger When I went to Timbre+, Burgs caught my eye for its long queues and visually appealing burgers. Turns out that the store collected orders in batches, resulting in a long queuing time for customers. Upon trying the Double pulled beef burger ($9.90), I was impressed by the tenderness of the burger, but felt that the ketchup sauce was far too rich. This result in the end result where the burger tasted far too sweet for a meat dish. A side note i had was that I bit into a bone midway through the burger, furthering my negativity bias towards this review. Carbs wise, the fries were thick and crispy while the bun was soft and fluffy, with the logo of the brand toasted on the surface. Nothing special of note. Grade: B+

Onion Rings ($4) The batter is delicious but unfortunately the onion rings were really hard -- not sure if it is a result of overfrying, but it had a very strange, almost biscuit-like texture.

Mind blowing matcha cheesecake Had the blueberry shortcake, yuzu raspberry & uji matcha cheesecake The blueberry shortcake & yuzu raspberry is normal but the uji matcha cheesecake is the highlight. Matcha taste is strong and the cake itself is crunchy

Yuzu Raspberry @$11.92 The prettiest and most popular cake at Nesuto. Vanilla sponge cake slices with Raspberry bits and 2 layers of yuzu mousse. Topped with white chocolate bits. The Yuzu Raspberry cake was rather too sweet for my liking to be honest.

Praline Noisette Gateau@$12.48++ Kids will love this. Crispy base and not so sweet also. Totally Taste like a Ferrero Rocher cake. Basically a premium Hazelnut chocolate cake.

Kothu Prata From New Mahamoodiya Had opted for the chicken version, which was expertly mixed with the flaky prata, onions, and spices. The curry adds a rich, slightly sour, and spicy kick that elevates the entire experience. To complete the meal, just sipped on a refreshing cup of Teh Halia (ginger tea), which helped to balance the spiciness. A satisfying and delicious meal that's a must-try for kothu prata fans!

Naan & Curry Aside from roti prata, the butter chicken and garlic naan are my to-order dishes. The oven-baked garlic naan was fragrant and yummy. The butter chicken comes with tender chunks of chicken in thick and well-flavoured masala. It was so good that I couldn't help but dip the naan and prata to go with masala. Prata Crispy plain prata served with curry and sambal tumis is a great combination. The prata are freshly prepared upon order and fried in a pool of oil which results in a crispy and fluffy prata. The exteriors are crackling crispy with soft and fluffy fillings inside which makes fork tearing the prata so easy. I would easily say this is one of the best roti prata especially in the east 👍 Getting a table might be a challenge during the peak hours and it can be crowded especially at night but the wait was all worth it! Charcoal Toasts with Pandan Dip ($8) 👻. Was thinking this looks like kinda suitable pic for Halloween. But it's actually very good pandan charcoal toast. Between the choice of Butter or Charcoal Toasts, and between Pandan or Thai Milk Tea dip, this is my recommended combination. 🔸 The toast cubes are buttered and crisp but not dry. The pandan dip was creamy with a swirl of coconut milk which was rather thick - so thick that it wasn't easy capturing the drip. It also has a pleasant fragrance of pandan, and I was told they had used real pandan leaves to create the dip.

Garlic Kai Lan With Pork If you are looking for vegetable dishes, go for this one! It's a 👍🏻
