The All-day Breakfast recommended for late brunches include their must-have Fluffy Brown Butter Pancakes and their pride, the 100% Sourdough Waffle derives from a 158-year-old starter, both with the options of either savoury ($23) or sweet ($21). For eat-clean fanatics, especially after all that stuffing of CNY goodies, their vegan Super Green Warm Soup ($16) or Miso Whole-wheat Spaghetti ($19) not only provides the detox, but also satisfies your tastebuds! Pretty filling if you ask me! And my top favourite goes to their Pulled Pork Creamy Risoni Pasta ($22)! First time trying this pasta (similar to risotto, but more chewy) which absorbs all the flavours from the pulled pork and roasted king oyster mushroom. Ate so much of the risoni even on its own!

Definitely keeping my fingers crossed that they would bring this dining concept across all outlets. More than just coffeeruns or pastries, they serve good brunches and dinners too!

Also my first time having this vietnamese broth which basically is tomato soup with fresh water crab, a local dish. Yet, unlike our thick tomato broth from hdl or rich creamy pork broth, their bún riêu is very light and comes with seafood flavours, nothing like what we have tasted. Brings about a new dimension to my tastebuds, the one here is so addictive that both Eu and i ended up drinking it non-stop. The hotpot set comes with a beef platter and we over-ordered yet again with their fried pho and fried springroll. This small family-owned stall was popular among the locals, value for money and not yet marked on googlemap.

Pleasantly surprised to find this hippy restaurant tucked away in jalan besar serving awesome local dishes. Some of my other favourites are Chef’s Joel’s Red Curry Sauce Crispy Seabass ($32.80/whole; $18.80/sliced), BBQ Pork Cheek ($14.80) and even their Ugly Cabbage ($9.80) is loaded with wok-hei! An upcoming dish: beef & foiegras is gonna be included in their menu in Oct!

Be sure to save some stomach space for their desserts too! Vegetarian Orh Ni ($5.80), Chendol Panna Cotta ($6.80) & definitely their Durian Icecream! All 3 are so good!
