Their san lao beehoon is still very good - a flat bed of vermicelli covered with meat and vegetables. It's charred and crispy on the outside, yet soft on the inside!
β’ $30.80 (per pax after GST & Service Charge). β’ The renowned Xiao Long Bao(s) definitely it's a must eat. You will not disappoint! Definitely one of the greatest xlb that I've tried. β’ Traditional steamboat style with a variety of side dishes. And do order more Fried Mantous as it's really tiny. β’ Reserved a table for 6 pax @ 8:30pm and staffs really only allow us to be seated at 8:30pm sharp. β’ Ambience is pretty crowded and noisy so expect yourself to "shout" across the table while talking to your friends!
Serving huge portions, be sure to share your food here at Gold Food. With most dishes priced below $10, this value-for-money Thai restaurant is great for some mango salad, green curry and tom yam. Located conveniently in Sunshine Plaza, it's a great hidden gem for cheap, tasty Thai food in town.
Tonkotsu ramen with all toppings. One of the best pork base ramen I've tried, just nice portions and excellent value. Damn good.
Fried Thai style crab dong fen. $15 for small, extremely good with heavy garlic and pepper flavours.
A mixture of Dutch cheese, red cheddar, emmental cheese and crab meat, the combination is just too good! With a spacious seating arrangement and live band on some of the days, it will definitely spice up your eating experience
Served with cheese sauce and zingy salsa sauce, the tortilla chips are crispy to bite but a tad too dry after a few munch. It would be good to have more melted cheese to go with the chips since it's pretty tasteless on its own.
Come on down by end of Nov to enjoy 20% off your total bill.
Brioche french toast with vanilla beans ice cream and caramelised banana and chocolate syrup. The bananas were not sliced, instead it was chopped into small bits that does not fully contain the caramel taste. French toast was well made, fragrant and chewy.
Comfort on a chilly day. Pretty decent mac & cheese, extremely comforting on a rainy afternoon/evening.
After Cravings Cafe, we hopped over here.
Thanks to Whisk and Paddle for serving us even though it's half an hour past your closing timeπ

If you like mix-and-match salads, or "meat boxes", as The Daily Cut terms their products, this is one stop you have to make. Go early or be prepared to brave the maddening queue.
There are three sizes available, each customisable with your choice of 1 complex carb (e.g. brown rice, whole grain pasta), 3 toppings (e.g. almonds, couscous, edamame) and 1 dressing (e.g. honey mustard, raspberry vinaigrette). The Regular ($12) gives you 1 protein (e.g. chicken thigh, salmon fillet), a Large ($15) gives you 2, and a Beast (&18) affords you 3. Some ingredients come at an additional top-up price.
The Regular I put together comprises sirloin steak (+$1), sweet potato, sous vide egg, quinoa and parmesan with ginger ponzu dressing on the side. I found the mix of ingredients flavourful enough so I didn't have to resort to more than 3 or 4 splashes of the gingery sauce.
