My kind of supper outside Isetan supermarket. Premium Sushi set sold at the Hokkaido food fair at Isetan Scotts. I was totally taken by surprise (in a good way) how fresh the sashimis are!!! The otoro was so fatty it melted into sweet juice inside my mouth! I could close my eyes and pretend for a minute that I'm enjoying my sushi in Japan! 😊

$68 per paella for 2 pax. So this 2 plates were supposed to feed 4? >< I think we're gonna go for desserts elsewhere now.. Rice was a little too gooey but nice and fragrant crust at the bottom.. Seafood wasn't really fresh ): Looks good but taste mediocre and not worth the money

Mediocre pasta ): Aglio olio style, too oily and too spicy.. But the lobster was very very fresh, loved each bite of buttery, moist and succulent flesh! So... Go for the seafood but not the pasta mains.

Crazy good risotto cooked al dente with infused distinctive crab flavours topped with fresh juicy prawns! It was so rich and creamy and things got even better after I mixed in the shredded cheese 😍 One of the best risottos I've eaten in SG priced at $22!

Great dish as a whole! Loved the grilled caramelized onions with pesto jam and yummy brown sauce! But sadly!! My lamb was too overcooked ):

Aww! Souffle has already sunk when it reached me.. A little too wet but loved the matcha aroma and taste!!

Ordering Soufflés at Hoshino have always been a hit or miss experience for me. There were times where it was too soapy and undercooked or too dry. Today's Soufflé Omelette was a hit!!! Perfectly cooked fluffy omelette with delicious tomato rice! I wish their success rate could be higher though.. >

$5 promotion for Matcha soft serve+a matcha biscuit roll. Tsujiri is one of my favourite soft serve shop because they are incredibly generous in their serving and also their matcha tastes authentic.. The matcha biscuit roll was kinda weird... Heavy palm oil taste which I didn't really like.

Pork Belly Curry Omurice $17 was pretty alright! Egg wrapped over tomato rice soaked in fragrant japanese curry and assorted vegetables. The omelette was actually quite fluffy but the pork belly was abit tough or overcooked. Did not enjoy the Unagi Toji though. It was too wet and the egg layer was way too thin. But!! Unagi was really delicious with a crispy charred bottom! I don't think it is worth $16 though 😅

Another new restaurant has opened in Big Box! Called Twenty15 restaurant grill bar. What will they be called next year? 😂😂 That aside, I WOULD HAVE NEVER EXPECTED SUCH GORGEOUS DISH TO BE SERVED AT BIG BOX! (Never thought this place can be "Atas" oops!) I couldn't be happier with the Salmon Tataki dish I ordered. My eyes just glistened when it was served! The tuna was very well seasoned but the crust could be just a little crispier. The sides of spinach and mushroom tartare and potato stack were great compliments to the tuna. The vinegrette sauce is perfect for this dish because it does not overpower the taste of the tuna. Reasonably priced at $25!
