Headed to this minimalistic cafe to try their pasta offerings after hearing many good reviews at this place. They do have quite an extensive menu that provides much selection of food and drinks. I much prefer the Ikura Capellini over this Rose pasta as its more savoury. Coffee lovers will be pleased at this place with their smooth taste and pleasant aroma. Overall its a nice place to chill though the price is on the steep side.ππ»ππ»ππ»
This bowl of Wanton noodle at 5 bucks is really mouth slurping good! The taste brought me back to Hong Kong instantly and made me craving for more!!! The Dumplings are plump with delicious chunks of shrimps and meat filling. Their in house made chilli paste goes well with the noodles too, it is mild tasting not too spicy. The noodles and broth reminds me of the HK restaurant style and i cant wait to go back again!ππ»ππ»ππ»ππ»ππ»
Went to give this pasta establishment a try and was pleased to see the many varieties offered. Upon seated, the staff will show the types of pasta offered for the day, which seems to differ depending on the type of flavour made for the day. Having choices of fresh pasta really makes this place unique and makes the whole eating experience fun. Bottom in the image is Pink sauce Mafalde with Prawns. Top in the pic is Aglio Olio Spaghettini with Prawns added with Sous vide egg. Overall, a great experience and will head down again to try their other flavours if there isnt a long wait for a table.ππ»ππ»ππ»ππ»
This old school eatery is closing soon after years of operation and long time customers will surely miss this nostalgic food in their neighbourhood. This is a simple bowl of Niang Tou Fu, wouldn't say that the ingredients taste superb as its quality is pretty similar to other YTF stall. This is a standard portion and it is actually quite pricey at 90 cents/pc. Perhaps YTF lovers would like to give it a try before the shop put up the shutters. ππ»ππ»ππ»
This is a luscious bowl of goodness! The mee kia is cooked perfectly and extremely well coated with the sauce mixture which consists of many spices. A must try for noodle lovers! The broth is very well flavoured as well though i ordered this at 11am. The combination of soup made this meal even better and i would highly recommend this! ππ»ππ»ππ»ππ»ππ»
This is a delish bowl of SG style ramen. This is indeed a zhng up version from the usual wanton mee with plump shrimp dumplings, ngoh hiang (subsitutted from the previous potato wrapped prawnπ), hot spring egg and Charsiew. All the side dishes are really executed well and complements very well with the palatable sauce coated noodles. A must try if you are around the vincinity! ππ»ππ»ππ»ππ»
The Kind Pho- A MUST TRY! This bowl of goodness is a highly recommended dish at this eatery. The broth is really tasty and is really one of the best Pho i had tasted in SG. ππ»ππ»ππ»ππ»ππ»
Royal Spicy-This is a special bowl of noodles that is mild tasting and has a unique broth as it has pineapple pieces which is rare in soup dishes. ππ»ππ»ππ»
Oyster Mushroom Fritters- This is another must try dish for mushroom lovers. I find this addictive and the plate got wiped out within minutes!ππ»ππ»ππ»ππ»ππ»
Went to give it a try as recommended by foodking. $8.50/bowl seemed a little steep as the portion makes one feel half-three quarter full. Would prefer the salted egg bee hoon more as there is more wok hei taste. Seafood is fresh and goes really well with their special chilli. 6.5/10 for bee hoon loversππ»ππ»ππ»
This dessert place is a must go when you are at serangoon gardens, a great place to enjoy desserts after having a nice dinner at Chomp Chomp Food Centre. The mango sago is my absolute favourite, since i am not a fan of durian. Durian lovers will love this place for sure since almost every other table will have patrons ordering the durian dessert. Hopefully they will open another outlet some time in the near future so that more people will get to enjoy this bowl of goodnessππ»ππ»ππ»ππ»ππ»ππ»
This ice cream waffles needs no introduction, this crowd favourite ice cream parlour is really delish. Waffles goes extremely well with the ice cream flavours, its a nice treat to enjoy as a reward after a long week of hustle. ππ»ππ»ππ»ππ»
A bowl of nice comforting ramen, the wow factor of the fire oil drizzling on the heaps of negi really brings out the aroma of negi well. It adds a special fragrance and smoky flavour to the soup. Not a big fan of the noodles as it is a tad too soft for my liking, but nevertheless it is still a decent bowl of ramen that reminds me of Japan. The tamago is really superb, finger licking goodππ»ππ»ππ»
Truffle Porcini Linguine, this is a dish that will be a hit among truffle fans. The cream based sauce goes well and coats the pasta well. The fried Portobello mushroom is a must order and the aroma of the earthy notes keeps me wanting for more. ππ»ππ»ππ»ππ»
