Worth a try because itās not a dish thatās commonly offered but give it a miss if you have a limited Budget. While anything with mentaiko tastes pretty good because of the umami it boasts, everything else about this dish was mediocre. The crab that was used seemed to be of Fairprice crab sticks and the dish seemed to be completed by rice cakes or mashed up pieces of that of some sort.

We were really excited for the beef tongue because we havenāt had any for so long but this was quite a disappointment. There was not much flavour, and the worst part was the texture really left a lot to be desired. It was neither crunchy nor tender, but really chewy and tough. Not even the chili that was served with it could save it.

This poke bowl really packed a punch with its various components. The spicy salmon brought lots of heat, the pineapple cubes gave great sweetness and acidity, and the kelp introduced a contrasting texture to the dish, when eaten with the sushi rice. There was only a small portion of avocado that was given, but in any case, it was overpowered by all the other components and you didnāt really get that creaminess from it, nor any zest from the lime that was supposed to have been added. Portion of salmon was alright, although it might be hard to tell because we ordered an extra portion, so it might not be accurate.

Hands down one of the best grilled cheeses weāve had! (Though he wishes that a sharper cheese was used but she thinks thatāll detract from the savouriness of the short rib). The bread was toasted almost perfectly, with the ends slightly burnt, but magnificently crispy. While the short rib could have a bit more flavour, its texture added another dimension to the Grilled Cheese. A tomato soup was also served on the side, and while not common in Singapore, it paired really nicely together. The soup had great depth to it, and packed a punch, and really kept us going back for more.

Overall this dish was delightful when eaten together. Individual components were not spectacular in any way. Although the poached eggs were a little over-done and hence not runny, the buttery hollandaise sauce still brought the salty-sweet prosciutto, mushrooms and toasted brioche together. Tasting different layers, I would describe this dish figuratively as an elderly couple. When you look at them you go āmehā. But when you see them hold hands, you get this warm fuzzy feelingšš»āāļø

While this was pretty good on our last visit, it fared much worse this time. The main component of the dish, the lamb was such a disappointment. Not only was it stone cold, it was also extremely tough, and came with lots of fats. Also, the beets tasted really strange, and we couldnāt even finish it. Granted however, the serving of baby spinach was generous, as was the portion of hummus. Might not get this ever again though.

Not much room for error given its michelin-starred status but this really didnāt disappoint. (Or maybe we were famished after our first CrossFit session ever). But on a more serious note, this didnāt let us down one bit. The chicken was so tender, and even the breast meat. Despite the ubiquity of chicken rice stalls, not many many to achieve this texture with their meat, so we thought this was pretty outstanding. While the sauce might be a tad too salty, it went really well with the rice. The beans also provided a different touch, although it didnāt add much to the dish. Also, our first ever michellin-starred stall, so we should support!

Nestled on top of a sesame bagel, the beef pastrami was the star of the show for sure! We were definitely going to order this given that itās not offered commonly. It was really tender and flavourful, though it would be better if it were more juicy like those in the Wild West. The sesame bagel was fragrant, though it wasnāt spectacular. The mustard hollandaise was also pretty good, with sufficient acidity from the lemon, heat from the mustard and also buttery.

The chicken was really nicely cooked such that even the beast meat was nice and tender. The marinade was slightly sweeter but still really tasty. While the skin wasnāt perfectly crisp, it was alright. The chicken was also cut to make it convenient to eat.
Why we say scary: when we asked how Long more the chicken would take because we had been waiting for quite a while, this bald guy manning the stall shouted back at us, and asked us why we were being rude. When we came back to collect the chicken, he said in Chinese: āif you think you can be mean, Iāll teach you what mean meansā. And we just walked away. But we might still return for the food haha but just be careful when you order!

Boy was this spicy, even though we requested for it to be less spicy. But donāt let the description mislead you, this was tasty as hell! The minced meat was really flavourful and the noodles were perfectly cooked. The egg was also poached perfectly, and better than some cafes in fact. Only advice: donāt mix all the chili in if you canāt take spicy!

This dish packed a punch in both flavor and to our wallets. Unassuming āba chor meeā noodles were al dente, neither over nor under cooked. The sauce might look gross and gooey but it was a balance of sweet-savory-spicy, perfect for a Singaporeanās palate (have it once served as sauce becomes runny). Coupled with raw cucumbers for crunch and tender minced meat, we are sold and have been coming back ever since. Itās no wonder the ZZM has a price point same as noodles with more meatš¤ Not to mention, having been to Ion, Airport and Westgate ourselves, Paradise Group is miraculously able to achieve consistent food quality standards despite having multiple outlets. Ama-ZING.

Overall experience felt like an atas seafood bar without the fishy smell. The Live Crab Combo ($97) in signature sauce(mild) was decked out with plump, fresh prawns, clams and a crab. The seafood was fresh and drenched in a tangy tomato based sauce, which was really addictive sauce. While she thought the sauce only tasted like Bolognese, he thought that the sauce had great depth of flavor, with many layers of spices that came through at different points (hence, crafty). There was also some heat which made the sauce appetising and kept us going back.
