The entire experience here was bad: We were the only customers and yet we waited for 40 minutes for our food to arrive. The pulled pork itself was flavourful, and had a good mix of sweetness and acidity to it, but the good news ends there. The fries were cold, oily, and overcooked. When the fries came, because of its color, we had thought we ordered sweet potato fries. But it was only because it had been left in the fryer for too long, and it was soaking in oil, and extremely hard. The bun was also toasted for way too long, leaving us with charred bits and a biscuit instead of a burger.

The entire experience here was bad: We were the only customers and yet we waited for 40 minutes for our food to arrive. The chicken steak came soaked in oil, and they clearly didnāt prep the chicken as there was littered all over it, which was just gross. The same fries as that served with the Pulled Pork was served. Yes those oily and ghastly ones.

The entire experience here was bad: We were the only customers and yet we waited for 40 minutes for our food to arrive. This was supposed to be one of their specialty dishes but it tasted just like your neighbourhood zichar restaurantās mui fan, on an off day. The risotto was neither luscious nor creamy as it should be, the grains were really mushy, and there was no depth of flavour. The only saving grace was the enoki tempura as it was fairly unique, but that too got boring after a while.

While the filling was moist, meaty and juicy, he didnāt like the exterior of the dumpling, while she loved it the way it is. Itās a little too thick and doughy and not crispy enough for a restaurant of paradise dynastyās standard. Be ready for that pop of soup when you bite into the dumplingš

Another must order when we visit because it tastes like a big, warm hug on a cold, winter day. Thereās so much depth of flavor to this soup, and feels like itās been on the boil for a Long time, because thereās such an intense pork flavor, and it is incredibly smooth. Nothing more you can ask for, especially when itās served with PLUMP prawn and pork dumplings.

Did the chicken or the egg (think: the mango puree served in egg shells) come first? This dish looked really similar to that offered at Lokkee, but after tasting both, they were really different renditions. The chicken here was way more flavourful, and tasted like it was housemade. We could taste cumin, turmeric, perhaps some fennel among others. But the version here really punches you in the mouth so be ready for that. Finally, we were really hoping for more chunks of chicken to be served.

We have been putting off trying aƧai in Singapore because theyāre all so expensive. We got the opportunity to try one when Burpple Beyond came along. You get a choice of honey or almond butter, but you know we went for that healthy fat. The aƧai itself is really fresh and pure, and when you mix everything together, boy is it a refreshing dessert. And you can tell yourself you ate pretty well as this packs a ton of micronutrients . Randyās is a great place to lose your aƧai bowl virginity with its high quality ingredients and generous servings!

Only thing better than a great wagyu beef bowl? When you can get it at half its price. My oh my, there were so many great things about this small bowl. The rice came in small grains, and were of a perfect texture, just about al dente. The onsen egg was also cooked perfectly, the whites were set, but the yolk remained runny. The spicy mentaiko also added another dimension with its umami flavours, but yet, it did not detract from the wonder that was the beef, which had a nice char to it, and it really melted in your mouth after two bites. Our only quibble would be that there were too many fatty pieces of beef that were served. Because the quality of beef was so spectacular, even the lean portions were already extremely juicy, succulent and tender.

A dish we always order when weāre here, because the balance of flavours that they achieve here make this dish really appetising. First youāll get the savory notes, and then a tinge (so that itās not overpowering) of sweetness hits you. Youāll also find, littered throughout the dish, chunks of meat that are so tender and offer yet another dimension. Then thereās fluffy eggs. And the cherry on top are those chunky, plump prawns. GIVE THIS A SHOT IF YOU HAVENāT.

Pretty impressed with the roasted delights that were offered here: the soya sauce chicken was nice and tender (such that comparisons to hawker Chan were made), the char siew had a nice char and deep, robust flavor to it and the sio bak had a less-than-perfect but still crispy skin. Another stand-out was the bean sprouts which were crunchy and refreshing and made utterly delicious with the soy sauce and crispy shallots.

First meal where the both of us have had such divergent views on the food. He thought it was a massive disaster while she was thinking of the next time they were gonna come back for it. He though that there was too much going on and that this was a confused burger: too many sauces, too many toppings. The worst part was that there was no distinct flavour nor any char in the beef , although this should have been the star of the dish. She, on the other hand, loved the jalapeƱos in the dish because she likes things spicy^^. She also liked what seemed like a potato roll (note: carbs are her weakness), which wrapped what was a juicy burger to her. She also liked that there was still texture to her patty, rather than those processed ones.
Note: He got a medium burger while she got a medium-rare so we could try out the different textures.

This was probably our favourite dish of the evening, but our wallets really took a hit for this, and it wasnāt that spectacular as well. The pork jowl was flavourful and tender, and had a slight char to it. The onsen egg also brought some creaminess to the pork when dipped into. However, nothing about it really stood out or blew our minds.
