Sufficient for 1 serving, but it’s mainly soup, an egg, some pieces of leek and ginger and a lot and a lot of noodles.
Got two halves of a crayfish, and each meat piece itself is about the length of my middle finger, but they are chewy and easily removable from the shell. Next time though I’ll probably just order the crayfish itself.
For those needing something to spice up the meal (which actually wasn’t necessary since it was already flavourful in silo), there’s also complimentary condiments of green, red cut chilli and homemade chilli paste. The thin and wide strands of kway teow were fried with fragrant wok-hei flavour, bathing in a pool of salted egg sauce that was creamy, rich and flavourful with a pleasant lingering saltiness. The fried chicken chunks were coated generously in the salted egg sauce, with a tender, juicy interior. A pity the exterior had turned somewhat soggy from the sauce but nevertheless, it was still enjoyable with a generous portion. The fried egg, unfortunately, did not come with a slightly runny yolk that I was expecting but it turned out to be a pleasant surprise that I was given a double portion of eggs! 💕✨ The soup was a clear and lightly salted one, filled with seaweed, shredded egg white strands and wolfberries. A great palate cleanser to the sinful (but worth it) indulgence. In fact, this was one of the best salted egg yolk mini wok I’ve had that I wouldn’t mind going for a return visit !
