There was a large variety of items to choose from at this ngou hiang stall. My personal favourites are usually the XL size prawn cracker, the pumpkin and water chestnut cake, the cuttlefish fillet and of course the ngou hiang. My benchmark for good ngou hiangs stalls has been set by the standards of Zhong Zhong at Macpherson. In comparison, the prices here are steeper than Zhong Zhong which is situated in a coffeeshop. Furthermore, the items like the pumpkin and waterchestnut cake came in portions half the size of the one available at Zhong Zhong. I was also rather taken aback by the ngou hiang chilli which was served in a palty sauce dish instead of generously in a mini bowl to coat the ngou hiang pieces in. The individual ingredients definitely tasted decent but the overall experience was a minor let-down.
