This is one of the few stalls with 不见天or Secreto char siew added to their Wantan mee.
For $7, you get 9 slices of the prized cut of pork, barbecued and glazed.
Honestly, this is a fattier cut of pork compared with your average char Siew made from loin meat. The slices I got today were especially so, so by the time I finished my plate of noodles, I was feeling queasy.
The noodles were blanched just right. So add their chilli sauce on top of their pickled green chilli. The two wantons were small but full of flavour. The soup, from boiling all the wantans, is a little salty and umami.
The rare cuts of pork aside, the wantan mee comes nowhere close to those in our neighbouring country. Good to try it once and see if the fatty layer and they chewiness suits you. If not, stick to the standard fare.
Back to 忠于原味 for their Premium Wanton Noodle 不见天叉烧.

Look at the fat ratio of that char siew, it taste as good as it looks.
Every bite of the char siew is just a burst of flavours, so sinful, but so damn good.
Expect to queue for this.
Queued quite long for this, which is why the vegetarian beehoon (a family fav) is half eaten :p
This was a decent plate of wanton noodles, but probably bc the benchmark is feifei @ yuhua, this fell short. It’s a good option nonetheless!
The past few times I came here, they were already sold out! So I decided to come earlier and I finally got it, after queueing for 25 minutes no less.
The cha shu was flavourful and tender despite each slice being quite thick. They were also very generous with the meat. The noodles were springy and were good, even on their own. And definitely try their chilli, it had a good kick to it and it seems like its homemade.
We also got the dumpling soup which surprised me. It was substantial and chock-full with meat, certainly something not many places have.
Don't let the waiting time deter you. If you're already at TBM, you should give this place a try!!
Definitely worth the queue. Not only is the premium char siew (不见天) excellently done, the noodles are well cooked not sticking together. The sauce made by the stall is just right for wanton mee. The usage of pork lard oil really enhances the overall taste. Even if the premium char siew is sold out the other char siew is just as tasty. But go early (before 10 am) if you want the premium char siew.
