Upside Down Coffee Roaster (Amoy)

Wasted 30minutes of me and my friend’s time searching for the coffee roaster only to find out that it is no longer operating.
Burpple team please keep your listing updated to avoid wasting people’s time.

Been wanting to try this place and was in the vicinity.

Price is good with burpple but you get a weak or milder coffee. Taste of coffee is really weak but I guess good enough for a post lunch pick me up.

was quite hard to find as there was no unit 114 but it's this shop that says 112-116. the coffee was kinda disappointing, esp the hot expresso we ordered - taste of coffee was sooo mild it was almost like hot milk. the latte was as mid as it gets without much coffee fragrance or milkiness. wouldn't come back again even with burpple beyond. service was rly good though!

tldr; this place is easily missed, and can be given a miss.

Beyond makes the trip worthwhile, but i wouldn’t otherwise return. affordable coffee at $7 for 2 cups of oat latte, for what i would reckon as rather ordinary.

i do feel the espresso shot was under-extracted, as the acidic taste was dominant especially in the iced oat latte. hot oat latte was alright though.

With the regular hot latte at $5, prices are pretty standard. Except it’s made much more affordable with Burpple beyond. Not the best coffee you can get in CBD but wouldn’t say no to a one-for-one if I’m in the vicinity.

Great mocha! They also have oat milk.
