Although slightly more pricey than other mala spots, 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐌𝐚 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐋𝐚 @Toa Payoh still remains my favourite - I can even eat their Mala 3x a week!
Besides achieving a good balance between the saltiness & spiciness of the dish, their generosity in catering to special requests - such as adding more garlic - is what I love most about them!

Mala Xiang Guo:
✅ Wide variety of ingredients and the are rather fresh
✅ Ordered very spicy level- spiciness is to my liking, but not enough ma (numbness)
Was about to walk back to the MRT and head to AMK to satisfy my ma la cravings until I saw this stall - a branch outlet of the same ma la stall in AMK! I love the reliable one in AMK and definitely held the same expectations for this, but I left feeling unsatisfied. The spiciness is there but the less fresh ingredients were not as fragrant and thoroughly fried, needing a lot more flavour. It's just no where as shiok!
