A lightly, less thicc and more ‘Q’ version of the traditional jelly hearts. The rainbow agar in between certainly added a lot more colours and aesthetics to the beautiful piece. Taste wise, it isn’t any vastly different from the traditional strawberry jelly hearts, unlike to cookie & cream versions. The mosaic/rainbow agar are pretty much tasteless- they’re really just for the colours! However, they do add a bit more Q-ness to the piece and also in a way, marginally less sinful since agar has slightly lesser calories than the cheesy bits?

Colourful layers of agar-agar, this multi-layered rainbow “cake” is made up of 4 tiers. The base contains digestive biscuit crumbs that are diet-friendly due to its low calorie count. The 2nd tier consists of full cream cheese, a great source of calcium and protein, while the 3rd tier is made up of colourful jelly. Finally, it’s topped with fresh strawberries which have antioxidant properties.

Never a fan of cheesecakes, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed The Jelly Hearts' Alluring Chocolate ($18). Loving the textures from the distinct 3-layered cake, the item sets itself apart from the Classic Original with the added hint of chocolate from the biscuit base. Perfectly harmonized. The full cream cheese middle was not too milky and didn't take away the taste of the other elements. Furthermore, balanced with the sweetness from the strawberries and wobbly jelly up top in each bite.

Heart shaped strawberry encapsulated in a bright, radiant and chewy strawberry flavoured jelly and snuggling cozily on the rich cheesecake with a crunchy biscuit as its bottom layer.
You do not need much invitation to start delighting in this awesome treat if you have not tried it previously.
The lingering sweetness after every bite will definitely keep you in awe
