Instead of the usual Char-siews, the wanton noodles here comes with generous portion of stir fried garlic pork slices. I enjoyed eating the pork slices, very tasty!
Their menu also includes snacks like Thai fried chicken wings and Thai fried pork belly, which I'll definitely come back and eat them all.

What you can expect: garlicky, tangy marinated pork slices (just 4 though), a pair of fried wonton (delicious!), and egg noodles bathed in gravy with a distinct meaty flavour. Starchy noodles are normally anathema to me, but the hint of starchiness here blended seamlessly with the sauce and gave it a nice viscosity. A pretty decent meal but no wow-factor. Maybe because the fusion trend is getting a bit hackneyed…

From Thai Fusion Wanton Noodles — a stall that is in a pretty new and modern coffeeshop at Blk 340 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1 namer Deli Kopi. The stall serves up Thai Wanton Noodle in three sizes, Dry/Soup Wanton as well as fried chicken mid-wings.
I wouldn’t say I am a fan of the saucier rendition of Wanton Noodles served here, considering other variants served by establishments that mainly sell Thai Wanton Mee are much drier (eg. Fatty Thai, Soi 19 and Kin Moo), but it does give the noodles a rich but light tinge of savouriness while the noodles still retain a fair bit of chewiness from the starchy sauce. That being said, I really quite liked the smoky flavours of the grilled pork that they had included, while the fried wantons come with ample meat and carries a distinct sweetness that wasn’t particularly off-putting; crisp on the exterior as well. Their variant is heavy on fried pork lard, though I could imagine how it would go if they were more generous with it given the crispiness of that lone piece of pork lard that came with my bowl.
In this new, modern coffee shop concept lies newly opened stall selling Thai fusion wanton mee. The egg noodles were cooked al dente, and it reminds me of the wanton noodles I had in Bangkok! The garlic sautéed pork slices were tender and well marinated - nothing like traditional wanton mee we always have around. Thought they could be more generous with the vegetables though. The fried wantons were perfect - almost wanted to order a plate of it as I continue digging into my plate of noodles!
They also sell fried quail eggs which is new on the menu!
