This was too good!!! Loved the creaminess of the omelette, which was really some on point cooking skills right there. The flavour and spiciness of the basil meat was also to die for. My only wish was the possibility of the meat sauce being coated directly onto the rice, to have the rice really soak the juicy goodness for an even tastier experience.

Most known for their boat noodles, I visited Thachang to try Boat noodles for the first time despite my grown age lol. Not sure what I should’ve expected, but I personally didn’t like this particular bowl. Yes I expected it to be herbaceous with a thicker consistency which I was perfectly fine with, but this bowl was way too sweet, with the sweetness almost creamy like. The tinge of spiciness was nice though, and the noodle texture was really chewy and bouncy. Not pictured was the Tom yum mama, which was honestly so sweet also!!! And not spicy.

Felt super thirsty aft finishing the soup. Beef was slightly tough. Beef balls quite bland. Prolly will try the other dishes next time!

The food:
Tastes like how it looks. Fish sauce which was thin and citrus and had no body, with no body. W instant noodles, the pork collar was tender but not crispy and not well marinated. Plus it's really really spicy, I alr asked for less heat but there's still a lot of birds eye

The service:
It's really terrible. They're all crowded near the counter playing their phones, I'm not sure why I'm paying service charge. Can't answer phone calls too lol

We ordered Yum Salmon ($24.90), which is a tangy and spicy raw salmon salad. This is my go-to appetiser whenever I am here.

You can’t go wrong with fried instant noodles and the Fried Mama Basil Scrambled Egg with Crispy Pork ($19.90) turned out as tasty as I imagined it to be, though it’s leaning on the salty side. The scrambled egg is super creamy and fluffy - love it! However, the roast pork is a little disappointing as it is quite dry. Still enjoyed this nonetheless!
