This was pretty good. The plain pudding had a good texture, and the caramel is less caramelised than most, which means it's sweeter and there's a different flavour.
Worth a try if you're already here for some reason
Had high expectations. Never had anything like I had in Japan, and at this price point, I was really hoping this place would recreate that experience. But no
The flesh was flaky, there's hardly any sweetness tho, and there's this slight funk on top of the savouriness from the miso. But I'll be honest, I feel like their miso is there to cover up the fish's taste. It's marinated for 24hrs, not the most fresh in the first place. Plus there's hardly any sweetness, and it's true that the miso's funk melds well with any possible lack of freshness
Plus, skin wasn't crispy
Fail, esp for 50bucks. And the place wasn't packed at all when I went at 6pm, but they're super anal about timing and claims that they're fully booked or wtv. I can't imagine why this place is packed
There's some caramelisation at the exterior, that's rare, and there's some bite from flour in the mixture I believe. It's not v sweet
It's alright I think. But it's damn hot, and that's very very annoying. Temperature really matters!
