Perfect if you are a cinnamon lover! Tastes like cinnamon donut in the form of a drink!
Chocolately rendition of the green tea frappe. Surprisingly good and not too sweet!
This looked most promising among the new cake flavors. The cheese was very creamy and I liked the slight saltiness. Sponge was really soft. The crumble on top was buttery. I liked that most of all.
Hot and strong black coffee. Not acidic. This place was great for chilling cos it was really quiet on a Sunday afternoon. Not crowded either.
Starbucks is getting the hang of riding on the cherry blossom season to launch beautiful merchandise and special drinks. So instead of having strawberry flavour in their whipped cream, it is now in the main beverage, together with honey-infused whipped cream and some crispy rice and dried strawberries sprinkled on top.
This drink reminded me of a sweetened strawberry milk like what we usually get from supermarkets. While Starbucks would have nailed it if their customers like pink, sweets and strawberry milk, I thought that it was a tad too sweet for me for some reason. So I wonder if it was really an ideal choice as a “cherry blossom” special. Could have been better if some bits were blended in the drink to give a little more crunch or texture.
I love earl grey tea and honey. This sounded like a perfect combi for me. This cake was soft and fluffy. Lovely earl grey cream but the honey was honestly too faint to be detectable. A sweet treat that went great with coffee.
